In the competitive Northern Utah market, **Valley View RV Resort** in Layton has established itself as a top-tier choice, bridging the gap between rustic camping and luxury hotel stays.

Unlike basic public campgrounds, a resort-level property like this provides full-service amenities that elevate the experience, ensuring guests can focus on adventure and relaxation rather than logistics. Customer feedback consistently highlights the park's exceptional cleanliness, accommodating staff, and robust feature set—qualities that justify its position as a preferred destination in the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. Residents appreciate that while RV living can be economical, choosing Valley View means they do not have to compromise on quality or community experience.
This commitment to providing a superior experience is especially valuable in a state where outdoor recreation contributes billions to the economy. For Utah residents looking for a ‘staycation’ base, or visitors embarking on a grand tour of the Western parks, a reliable, full-service resort like Valley View ensures a smooth and enjoyable journey. The resort explicitly welcomes families and pets, underscoring its commitment to being a true community destination.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We love it here. This is the first big resort we’ve ever stayed at b/c they’re always so expensive and, in my opinion, never truly worth the price. However, I would say this place is definitely worth it. Even aside from the amenities and the cleanliness standards they keep throughout the park, they are super accommodating for reservations. Of course it’s expensive during the summer months, but it’s definitely the best priced place in the Salt Lake and surrounding areas (trust us, we looked lol). They made extending our stay another month super easy and tried their best to get us in a favored spot. Their non summer prices are fantastic, especially when combined with their military discount. Awesome dog park! Super animal and kid friendly place. 10/10 recommend Valley View.
September 02 · Olivia PotterI stayed at Valley View for 7 weeks in my R-Pod. I had a great stay and the staff and groundskeepers were kind, respectful, helpful and friendly. It’s also a dog friendly park and a great place to walk around. I used the showers and laundry facilities which were always clean. The park is located near Hill AFB and jets fly over during the day but it wasn’t a problem. The park was very quiet in the evening hours and I always felt safe and comfortable. I met some amazing friends. I would 100% stay again, if the situation arises.
July 30 · kim kozdaThis RV Resort is set in such a beautiful setting! The mountains are gorgeous. The amenities here were so clean and nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My kids loved the playground and I thought it was perfect too with ample seating for parents and an amazing view while they played. There were some overhead planes/jets from time to time that could be loud from the Air Force base nearby but my kids and husband loved watching them fly around. They were pretty neat to see. The pool and workout facilities were top notch. Great place that we will definitely be returning back to.
May 05 · Brian WescheVery nice RV Resort with good amenities and a free Air Force Plane show! The front desk girls were very kind. Nice dog run area for our dog and great small gym. The location is also good, close to things. Would definitely stay again!
August 17 · Nicole BairdWe absolutely loved our stay at Valley View RV Resort! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the peaceful atmosphere, friendly staff, and stunning views that truly live up to the name. The sites were spacious, level, and well-maintained, with full hookups and plenty of room for our fifth wheel. The amenities were top-notch — clean washrooms, laundry facilities, a great playground for the kids, and a beautiful walking trail that gave us the perfect way to unwind each evening. We especially appreciated how family-friendly and welcoming the resort felt.If you're looking for a relaxing, scenic getaway with all the comforts of home, Valley View RV Resort is a gem. We’re already planning our return trip!
