Teton RV park Introduce
For Idaho residents and travelers seeking an extremely affordable and highly accessible basecamp in Eastern Idaho, **Teton RV Park** in Rigby offers RV camping services. Located conveniently for both short-term travelers passing through and those requiring a longer-term stay solution, this RV park serves a unique need in the Rigby and greater Idaho Falls area. The park primarily focuses on providing essential RV hookups and ground space, positioning itself as a cost-effective option for those who prioritize budget and location convenience over extensive luxury amenities.
As a combination RV park and trailer park, Teton RV Park caters to a diverse group of users, including seasonal travelers, local workers, and residents who are looking for a place to settle their recreational vehicle or mobile home. The facility is fundamentally a real estate operation focused on lot rentals for RV camping and trailer residency. Given its proximity to major national parks and local attractions like the Teton River and Heise Hot Springs, it provides a practical lodging solution for explorers of the breathtaking Idaho outdoors.
However, potential Idaho users should be aware that customer reviews indicate a very no-frills, utilitarian approach to the park's management and condition. Feedback suggests that while the rates may be "very cheap," guests should manage expectations regarding cleanliness, maintenance, and neighborly atmosphere. There are notable concerns from past customers regarding property management communication, specifically concerning rent receipts and payment confirmations, as well as the overall appearance of the park. It is a location perhaps best suited for the rugged, budget-conscious traveler or long-term renter who requires little in the way of services and is primarily focused on the financial savings and the strategic location itself.
Teton RV Park is strategically located at **121 E 825 N, Rigby, ID 83442, USA**. Rigby is a welcoming, small town situated perfectly between the larger centers of Idaho Falls and Rexburg, placing it in a prime position for accessing the best of Eastern Idaho.
This location offers excellent accessibility for road travelers, as Rigby is near major highways, making it an ideal stopover for those traveling to or from some of the most sought-after national parks in the country.
- **Gateway to the Tetons and Yellowstone:** The park serves as an affordable basecamp, being less than a two-hour drive from the majestic Grand Teton National Park and within a reasonable driving distance to the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park.
- **Local Rigby Access:** The park is close to local Rigby attractions. Rigby is home to the renowned Farnsworth TV & Pioneer Museum, celebrating Philo T. Farnsworth, a pioneer of television. The location also provides relatively easy access to local dining and shopping options in Rigby.
- **Recreational Proximity:** Nearby natural attractions include the famous fishing on the Henry's Fork and South Fork of the Snake River, the thrilling St. Anthony Sand Dunes for ATV enthusiasts, and the relaxing Heise Hot Springs, all within a short drive.
The specific address suggests the park is situated on the outskirts of the main residential and commercial hub of Rigby, offering a degree of separation and quiet from city center traffic, although potential tenants should always visit the site to confirm the immediate surroundings.
The core service provided by Teton RV Park is the rental of spaces for RVs and trailers. As an RV park, the primary offering is the provision of essential hookups necessary for short-term camping and long-term residential stays in a recreational vehicle.
- **RV Camping Lot Rental:** Offering designated spots suitable for recreational vehicles, including both short-term nightly/weekly rentals and extended-stay monthly arrangements.
- **Essential Hookups:** Providing the basic, fundamental services required for RV and trailer functionality, which typically include:
- Water hookup
- Electric hookup (usually 30 and/or 50 amp service, though specific details should be confirmed)
- Sewer hookup (often called "full hookup" sites)
- **Long-Term Trailer/Mobile Home Residency:** The park functions as a trailer park as well, providing lots for permanent or long-term placement of mobile homes or trailers, catering to local residents seeking low-cost housing solutions.
- **Management Interaction:** Provision of services related to lease and rent collection, as well as handling necessary maintenance and conflict resolution within the community. Potential residents are strongly advised to meticulously document all payments.
The most significant feature of Teton RV Park appears to be its economical pricing and strategic geographic location, which provides an affordable entry point for living in or exploring the beautiful Eastern Idaho region.
- **Unmatched Affordability:** The park is highlighted by customers as a "very cheap" option, making it an accessible choice for budget-conscious RVers, travelers, and long-term residents in Idaho.
- **Proximity to Outdoor Adventure:** The location is a highlight for those who love the Idaho outdoors. It is a practical launching pad for:
- Exploring Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.

- Relaxing at Heise Hot Springs.
- **Simplicity of Use:** The park offers essential RV camping, meaning travelers can get off the road quickly and access basic utility hookups without the complexity of a resort-style facility.

Choosing Teton RV Park in Rigby, Idaho, is most worthwhile for two specific types of Idaho residents or visitors: the **ultra-budget-conscious traveler** and the **long-term renter seeking the lowest possible housing cost** in the area. For these individuals, the park's primary virtue is its affordability. In a region where housing and lodging costs are continually rising, especially with the popularity of nearby tourist destinations, a "very cheap" rate for an RV spot provides significant financial relief. This makes it an invaluable option for individuals and families whose main priority is minimizing overhead.
Furthermore, the park’s **unbeatable geographic positioning** as a launchpad for adventure is a huge plus. As an affordable home base in Rigby, it positions you perfectly to explore the world-class recreation of Eastern Idaho. You are well-situated for easy day trips to the towering beauty of the Tetons and the geothermal wonders of Yellowstone, making it a functional overnight stop or a practical extended-stay location for seasonal exploration. This strategic value of location combined with the low cost is the greatest asset Teton RV Park has to offer the adventurous Idaho user.
**A Word of Caution for Prospective Tenants:** It is essential to choose Teton RV Park with a full understanding of the customer feedback provided. Due to reports of payment discrepancies, it is non-negotiable to **meticulously keep all rent receipts** and records. Given the candid customer descriptions of the park being "very run down and dirty," and noting concerns about the general atmosphere, it is crucial that prospective renters view the site in person before committing, particularly if expecting a modern, amenity-rich environment. This park is best chosen by those who are self-sufficient, require only the most basic hookups, and view the low cost and the Rigby location as the overriding benefit, while being prepared to deal with administrative and on-site imperfections.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Very cheap rv park/trailer park. Owners, we're nice until the second day, then became nasty towards us. I don't trust it here. Very run down and dirty, the spot was covered with animal waist. And it seems to me this is a good place for drug addicted people. Very shady. Paid for 3 nights and not even staying for that. Keep the money. It's not worth it for me. A garbage dump. It's not a place for kids. Also an grumpy old man next to us who lives here permanently and has been complaining about other kids here and threatening them. Was happy to leave that place.
May 09 · Scott HarrisThe only thing I would say negative about the place is keep all your rent receipts. We have been accused of not paying our rent on three separate occasions when in fact they have charged us for a month twice on multiple occasions.
December 08 · Diana ComteSigns lead you to it but the road quality is something that could be improved. Small MPH signs, excessive gravel over an insufficiently compacted road along with high impact large unpainted speed bumps leads to rough ride and noise which makes sense with the manager watching and yelling to slow down at every vehicle that is unaware, seems purposeful.I suppose when a person gets old, they have to have something to do everyday.Nice enough basic RV site with water and connection, it's also affordable.
July 24 · Justin WeberIf your looking for meth this is the place to look. The landlord comes around at 9 o'clock and says there is a 9 o'clock curfew. The reason for the 9 o'clock curfew is because of theft, so this is the landlords idea of fixing the problem, he will not pay for a street light. At night its pitch-black. Also, cats are running array without being neutered and the landlord doesn't enforce the 2 cat agreement on lease. ( My dog senses a sketchy scammer and only barks at the Landord when he walks by. ) 🤣 You really need to keep track of your rent receipts or you may be accused of not paying a month's rent.. or maybe even 6 months rent!! I have paid every month's rent but the landlords say I owe 1,500!! Ridiculous. We've had one upgrade in the last 3 years and that was the road paved on isle A.B, C, and D go without blacktop. Not a blade of grass.Thank you, Ace 2
October 08 · Jackie WhiteGreat people and owner, helped a bunch during CoVid isolation and worked with me and the lady to get us through the tough times...can't say enough about them. The park itself is basic as is but shows promise and I'm sure the managers will Help it bloom! We Care..
