Nice place. Large park with tiny homes.Upon check in, you will not receive an email with the space number, map, wifi codes, etc. You have go into the office, or for after hours, look for an info pack in a mail box. Unfortunately no info pack for me. So I had to call. I give them a 2 for streamlined no hassle check in.Nice well manicured park with pool, hot tub and showers.The shower I went to was broken. The other head was dangling by its cord as the holder was bbroken. Not a huge problem but not a great experience having to hold the wand and so on.Children were in the hot tub past nine.Other than that, it is a good value in a good safe location. Very clean and well kept.

The RV Resort was top notch! The resort is well maintained , there is an abundance of room between each spot, and lots of mature tree for shade. The resort is a combination of full time residents in RVs, part time RVers, and tiny houses that are so cute! The restrooms and showers are individual rooms with their own locking door and the laundry room was nice and big. Both are open 24 hours. There was even a dog washing station for the pups. We didn't use the pool, but it looked very clean. It's a convenient location, only 20-25 minutes from downtown Austin. We would definitely stay here again!

It's like the best place I've ever stayed. Terrific service & staff. Plus ☕. The gave awesome help over the phone I shouldn't of needed. The pool temp is always amazing because the hot tub flows into it. Everything CLEAN & neat.👍👍👍👍👍👍&⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Chose for the holiday.

The bed was especially cozy, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made for a restful night’s sleep.The hotel’s facilities were impressive, including a well-maintained gym, a relaxing spa, and a beautiful pool area perfect for unwinding. The on-site restaurant offered a delicious variety of meals, with excellent service and a pleasant ambiance.The location was also a major plus, conveniently situated near key attractions and public transportation, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, my stay exceeded expectations, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great service. I will definitely be returning!

I’ve stayed here for 3 months (Mid - March 2024 - May 2024) and more recently 4 months (February 2025 - May 2025). It’s really sad to see how fast a change in management can destroy what was a really nice RV Park and community. My 2024 experience was fantastic. That said - if you plan on staying long term, or a few months (which I consider long term) - don’t. The new management has gone out of there way to make massive changes that don’t make sense and I’m going to list a few for you here. 1st - The park expanded and the expansion is across the 5 lane road. They forced everyone in the park staying long term to pack up and move across the street, so now what used to be a nice, full of life RV Park is a ghost town. They uprooted people from their home and forced them to move across the street where there is virtually no amenities. NOT EVEN A DOG PARK! The amenities they built across the street include washers that are half the size, and twice as expensive as on the original side. So laundry is more than twice as expensive. All in all - uprooting all those people and leaving a ghost town behind at the original park was the start of the end at Oak Forrest.2. The pools in the photos aren’t ever working. I do mean NEVER working. One pulls has been shut down every summer. Nobody at the park cares to fix it, but they sure won’t ever lower prices for lack of amenities promised.3. These new managers thought it was wise to tear down one of the “resorts” laundry rooms with bathrooms and a rec room. Now there’s half as many washer/dryers. I don’t think anyone knows or ever will know what the reason for that move was.4. On the new expansion side where they shipped up all to make sure the long term stays were out-of-site out-of-mind they can hardly even cut the grass before it’s growing up into the bottom of the rigs in some places.5. There isn’t even a dog park in the new side where they shipped everyone.I could go on forever about this place - but you have to stop somewhere.There are some bright spots - Brittany working in the office was fantastic. She’s not the one making the decisions, and I do believe she is aware of the awful management decisions - but she still somehow handles the impossible task of keeping a ton of mad long-term residents happy.If you’re coming for a night, or a short term stay - this park is nice. The amenities are basically cut in half, but the park is pretty nice.If you’re coming for a long term stay, go somewhere else. This park will hide you as far away from the amenities they can get you and never think twice about it. Go somewhere else where the park management values you.
