The beautiful bathhouse with spa-like touches was a delightful surprise; you can freshen up there and then sit out on the deck with some yummy coffee and watch the wildlife. It was wonderful to enjoy nature from the comfort of our glamping tent, complete with AC. The comfortable beds ensured a restful night's sleep. Spent my whole life camping all over the east coast and this is the best campground I have ever been to. Every Glamp Tent has AC and and the best view of the creek. The bathrooms are PRIVATE. I have never heard of a campground that has locking suites for your stay! The wildlife is amazing out here too. I’ve seen turkeys, owls, deer, pileated woodpeckers, there’s a resident groundhog, butterflies, and they have chickens in a hobbit house! If you’re into flora and fauna there’s countless species of wildflowers and native plants that bloom throughout spring and summer bringing with them all the pretty butterflies and dragonflies. If you take the walking trail up and back down the mountain you’re bound to have some cool experiences and see the most beautiful view of the surrounding mountainside. I’ll also note this place feels very safe. It’s tucked away in the woods but only 1hr from Sevierville and Gatlinburg, 30min from Morristown and 10min from Newport. This is one of those places where once you’re at the end of your stay you say to yourself “I don’t want to leave”. Thank you to Karen and Scott who have made something extremely special to share with others.

Our kids wanted to go camping, but we are at an age where some creature comforts (like beds and running water) are necessities, so we compromised with “glamping.” Star Gazer was perfect! We stayed in the three cabin group, so there was plenty of space for our family of four. We were able to grill dinner and roast marshmallows on the fire pit which was fun. Our tents comfortable thanks to the mini splits. And the bath house was great! Really strong water pressure for showers which is definitely not something you expect to have when camping, so we loved that! The property also has a playground area and a hiking trail, as well as a creek. Extra note - it rained pretty hard one evening while we were there and there was no leaking in the tents. We could tell they were really well-constructed. Overall, a great location if you want a camping experience with the added benefits of AC and hot showers!

Star Gazer Farm Glamping is a perfect little paradise in the outskirts of Newport. The setting fully immerses you into nature, while also providing a gorgeous bath house and fully electrified heated/cooled tents. The stargazer theming is uniquely placed throughout the property, including the"Andromeda Trail", a nice little hike up and over the ridge on the property. Don't miss out on a gathering around the fire pit! Overall a truly incredible experience!
