For example, during less busy periods, they might have specific deals for longer bookings, or if you're a returning camper, there could be unadvertised benefits as a thank you for your continued patronage.
While specific, widely-advertised promo codes might not be as common as with larger campground networks, the value at Oxbow Campground often comes from the overall experience, including the high quality of the sites, the cleanliness of the facilities, and the unparalleled customer service. Oxbow Campground Reviews
This is a beautiful quiet campground. The sites are mostly spacious and the seasonal sites are well maintained by the campers. The restrooms are clean. Probably the best part is how nice the owners are. We had a waterpump failure and the owner was extremely helpful and kind as we figured out our tow and where to stage the motorhome. A giant Thank You to Kayla and her Dad for being patient and helpful as we dealt with getting our rig towed.
Jun 03, 2024 · Angela BernholzWhat a wonderful experience! Coming home from a sudden trip to a funeral in Maine. We had thought we would be able to find a place to stay for the night somewhere in New Hampshire. Unfortunately there was nothing available anywhere, not even a Walmart parking lot and it was getting late! Then we called Oxbow Campground and spoke to the owner Tom. At first he said he did not have any availability as he was totally booked and suggested a few other places to call all of which we had already done with no success. After hearing this he graciously offered to allow us to park in the front field (we are a self contained motorhome). What an absolute blessing after a very stressful day. The campground itself is beautiful! Several lakes, nicely wooded, well kept and very clean, beautiful pavilion with various activities throughout the summer. Even a game room off the office as well as outdoor games like volleyball and shuffleboard. The kindness and heart of the owner Tom is evident everywhere as he truly loves what he does and cares about the people he meets. You don't often meet someone with this level of compassion and heart and we are so grateful to have met Tom. I highly recommend seeking out this wonderful campground if your travels take you near Deering New Hampshire.
Jul 23, 2024 · Wendy GraefI had been trying to get into this place for a few years, they are often booked up an it looked real nice from the pictures online. Finally got an opportunity a few weeks ago to give it a try. Nice place. Has a traditional campground feel, lots of woods, water features, some decent sites. We were in the pull through area up near the office, which was spacious enough, hard sometimes not to feel like you in a parking lot. It was nice walking around the grounds, the dogs enjoyed the water. People seemed friendly. The surrounding area is nice as well. Reasonably priced, would recommend.
Sep 21, 2022 · John SaundersRained a lot while we stayed. We rented the old cabin which was comfy but needs some work done . Nice trails and beautiful area. Bath house has a leaky skylight and it would be helpful to have a deodorizer. Showers are great . Tom is an awesome host!
