Given that Cape Island Resort operates as an exclusively seasonal campground, specializing in seasonal site rentals and the sale of park models or RVs on-site, their "promotions" differ from those of nightly or weekly rental campgrounds. Their primary focus is on establishing long-term residency.
Potential "offers" or advantages for prospective seasonal residents might include:
- P Inclusion of Amenities: The seasonal fee covers access to the vast array of resort amenities, from pools and sports courts to planned activities, essentially bundling a premium lifestyle into the seasonal rate.
- P Move-in Promotions for Unit Purchases: For those purchasing a park model or RV unit directly on-site, the resort may occasionally offer specific incentives. For example, a recent listing for a unit included "the entirety of 2025 rent included," which is a significant saving for a new buyer. Prospective buyers are encouraged to "Be sure to ask about any upcoming promotions!" related to home sales.
- P Long-Term Value: The primary "promotion" is the inherent value of securing a seasonal spot in a highly sought-after, family-friendly, and meticulously maintained resort in a prime Cape May location. This long-term commitment often provides a better overall value than repeated short-term rentals in the area.
- P Community Benefits: The sense of community, security, and peace of mind from knowing your neighbors and being part of a stable environment is a core benefit, though not a discount.
For the most accurate and up-to-date information on any move-in promotions, seasonal site availability, or details on purchasing a unit, interested parties should directly contact Cape Island Resort. May 28, 2025 · Tara M.This really is a resort. We just purchased here after searching at a few other campgrounds in this area. Everything about this place is top notch.. The bath houses and laundry are spotless and look brand new. The landscaping is impeccable, colorful and eye catching. The properties are not on top of each other. They’re well taken care of and decorated. The activity areas and pools are clean with plenty of seats. Every person from staff to neighbors are respectful and friendly, always saying hello with a smile. Honestly, the best part of the purchase experience was the property manager, Tyler, what a truly genuine nice guy. The combination of professionalism, customer attention and actually providing quick responses/solutions/action almost immediately is a RARITY in today’s world. As a business owner, I appreciate this. He’s part of the reason we chose here. Looking forward to many happy years here!
Jul 12, 2024 · Joseph TurnerI just bought a place here last month. As a single mom I was immediately impressed with how safe I feel in this campground. The security guards and staff take their residents safety very seriously and I am very appreciative of that. Everyone I have spoken to/met in the office has been an absolute pleasure and patiently answered my many . . . many questions. The grounds are immaculate and the units are very well maintained. You can tell people take a lot of pride in their little piece of Cape May paradise. I love the convenience of garbage pick-up twice a day. This resort is a five minute drive to anything you could possibly need. And within ten minutes you can be at a number of different beaches or bays. I am excited to meet my neighbors and participate in family activities with my 9 year old daughter. Can't wait for next season!

There are pickleball & basketball courts, a ball field, a horse shoe pit, playground areas, and planned activities for the kiddos. The office is open from 9AM to 5 PM daily if you need to register guests, get your propane tanks refilled, or have any questions or concerns. After 5 PM, there are security guards on duty that patrol the resort. There is trash pick up multiple times a day. The laundry facilities and bath houses are newly renovated. There is also a new adult only lounge if you are over 21 and would like to have a glass of wine with friends. The resort is pet friendly. The resort is very close to the beachs, the happening area in Cape May with all its restaurants and shopping areas. You can visit the Cape May Lighthouse or Sunset Beach for a flag ceremony, get a beer or glass of wine at one of the areas many wineries or breweries. Or if you prefer you can go antique shopping at one of the many antique stores. There is a new complex open where you can catch the latest movies, go bowling, play arcade games and get something to eat or drink. There is so much to do. Being in Cape Island Resort means you are close to everything that is happening. It's a great place to be.
Jul 13, 2023 · Lynn SThis place used to be the best kept secret in Cape May until new international management started their reign. Prices have skyrocketed & service - let's say they're no "Jimmy."
