While specific, widely advertised short-term promotions are not consistently detailed in public information for Boulder Point Campground, the pricing structure and the distinct offerings themselves can be seen as "special offers" depending on a camper's preferences. Here's what potential visitors should know:
- Value-Added Inclusions: Each campsite purchase includes a charcoal grill, fire pit, Adirondack chairs, and a picnic table, which are significant conveniences that might be extra at other campgrounds. Four guests are typically included in the base nightly rate, with extra guests incurring an additional per-person, per-night charge (e.g., $27.50).
- Unique Rental Experiences: The availability of a glamping tent and a vintage UHaul camper for rent provides unique, ready-to-go camping options that cater to different comfort levels and are a highlight in themselves, rather than a discount.
- Pricing Transparency: While some reviewers note it's on the pricier side compared to some public campgrounds, the clear pricing and the perceived value (due to cleanliness, quiet, and amenities) often lead to positive sentiment despite the cost. The campground's website lists nightly rates which can fluctuate based on demand and site type.
- Seasonal Considerations: Like most campgrounds, rates may vary by season or for weekend/holiday stays versus weekdays. Guests are encouraged to check the booking platforms (Hipcamp, Airbnb for the Pool House) or contact the campground directly for the most accurate and current pricing for their desired dates.

Boulder Point Campground Reviews
We Camped at Boulder Point during Memorial Day Weekend. We were a large group escaping the NYC quarantine and we really had a fantastic time. Really close to the city, which made it really easy to get to and at the same time, far away from it all. The woods and open areas are really beautiful. There are no RVs, which makes the night really quiet (no lights, no motor noise). Friendly and chilled campground staff and dogs, who stopped by (maybe a tad too often, especially the dogs) and asked if you needed anything. It was very easy to communicate with the owner. Close to very nice hikes and with a very convenient ice machine! There were comfy tables and chairs at each site. We are already planning our next visit!
Jul 07, 2020 · maria seguraReally enjoyed my stay here with a group of 7 people. Kayla (sorry if spelling is not correct) at the front desk was really lovely and helpful! There is a small campstore with firewood, fire starter, coffee, snacks, etc. A few single person public bathrooms w/shower for the campground. Bathrooms were new and clean. The campsites were different sizes, so its best to call and ask which might be best to accommodate your group...ie I don't think our three tents would have fit on one of the smaller sites. Each site has a small grill, picnic table, firepit and two chairs. It was really pleasant that the campground wasn't crowded. It's the priciest campground I've ever been to, but I made the choice to stay here because the public campgrounds nearby had poor reviews. We were all happy with our choice and enjoyed the stay! Thank you!
Jun 13, 2021 · Maral MMy friends and I had a great long weekend stay camping at Boulder Point Campground. Each campsite has a grill, fire ring, and table. Plenty of space for our two tents and hammocks for the group of four. The restrooms were cleaned each morning and well stocked. Richard kindly brought firewood over to our campsite since we were out too late. Everyone in the campgrounds were very kind or kept to themselves. The location of the site was in good proximity to some trails that we were looking forward to hike and it was an overall great experience!
Sep 05, 2024 · Megan EGreat camp ground. Been here for days. I love the new bathrooms, so clean and nice. The campground attendant is a sweet heart. The free ice was awesome. It was quiet and beautiful.
Aug 26, 2022 · Joseph SpotoRichard S. Was a great Memorial Day weekend host! We originally had site 18 which was nice and secluded but a lot of caterpillars. For our second night Richard let us move to site 4 which was perfect! The only downfall is that most of the campsites are on a slight slant. We really enjoyed our stay overall and we would definitely return!
