Adventure Bound Camping Resorts - Gatlinburg Reviews
Overall this campground could use some work.. lots of broken and not working items. A lot of the staff are super friendly and nice and smile a lot. Just feel like the sites could use some help. We probably won’t be back but the water slide is great, kids loved it.
Jul 06, 2025 · Tannor GilesThis was so much fun! We were originally going to tent camp but we decided to rent RVs on site. The RVs were decently clean. They were very spacious and had plenty of room for our three kids, myself and my wife, and active couple. We could have gotten even more in there if needed. The water slide was definitely the highlight of the trip. It's very steep to walk up and there were tons of people getting scrapes and cuts from the concrete walls on the way down. But it was all worth it! The staff was hit or miss. The lady at the slide did not show up on time and gave weird excuses for not being there. Some guy came and opened it for us because he said she was just being lazy. Which unfortunately I think he was right. The kids stood in line for 10 or 15 mins waiting for her but that guy came to fill in. He actually walked up to the top and made sure the rules were followed. We were there 3 days and she never once walked up there. Overall we would do it again!
Jun 19, 2025 · Dustin WeaverMy wife and I have been staying at this camp ground for 20+ years since we were kids and the camp ground was called Crazy Horse. Unfortunately, I don't think there has been one significant improvement made to the property in the 20+ years. We felt a similar sentiment as a few other reviews that it will always have that nostalgic appeal to us and we love the creek side camping spots, but the gross lack of attention to the facilities is hard to look over at this point. The pool is missing several tiles and appears to have been spray foamed in the voids of the tiles rather than fixing the issues. There are 3 shower houses on the premise. The one closest to the playground was without hot water for the weekend, the one in the back has open light fixtures with exposed electrical connections just a few feet away from the men's showers, and a plunger sat in the middle of the floor of the men's bathrooms attached to the main office for the entirety of the weekend, clearly indicating it was not being cleaned. The staff was friendly in any of our interactions so will give them that nod, but the campgrounds facilities have been grossly ignored for years at this point.
Jun 30, 2025 · Buddy RennerMy family just stayed here for a week and I have nothing but good things to say about all of it! The staff is so friendly and the grounds staff work so hard around the clock keeping the campground going. The view of the stream side campsites are worth every penny! We will definitely be back!
Jun 27, 2025 · Laura BianchiMid May of 2025. I can't say enough awesome things about this place and Mary. I had an amazing stay. They are VERY occommodating. We had a huge tent camp site by the stream. The stream is VERY loud
