The key to a great RV experience often starts with an ideal location, and Southern Pines RV Park absolutely shines in this regard. You’ll find this welcoming park situated at 422 Roundtree Dr, Dublin, GA 31021, USA. What makes this address so appealing to local Georgians? Firstly, its accessibility. As many visitors have noted, the park offers "super easy access" from major thoroughfares, making it a breeze to pull your camper in, whether you have a large pull-through rig or a cozy back-in spot. This ease of access is invaluable, particularly after a long day of travel.
Secondly, its proximity to local attractions is a significant draw. For families involved in travel baseball tournaments, Southern Pines RV Park is a true game-changer, being "only 1 mile away" from what appears to be a key sports complex in Dublin. This means less time commuting and more time enjoying the game and relaxing at the park. Beyond sports, Dublin itself offers local charm, dining options, and shopping, ensuring you have everything you need within a convenient distance. While the immediate surroundings are peaceful, you're not isolated from the conveniences of a thriving Georgia town. This strategic location makes Southern Pines RV Park not just a stopover, but a genuine base for exploring the Dublin area and beyond, perfect for weekend trips, family visits, or even longer stays for those with appointments in the area.
Southern Pines RV Park, though a relatively new family-run venture (as of April 2024), has quickly established itself by providing a comprehensive array of services that cater to the modern RVer's needs. The emphasis here is on convenience and comfort, ensuring a hassle-free stay.
- Full Hookup Sites: A top priority for most RVers, all sites at Southern Pines RV Park come with full hookups, meaning you'll have access to water, electricity (30-amp and 50-amp available), and sewer connections. This eliminates the need to move your rig for dumping tanks, enhancing your comfort and convenience.
- Paved, Spacious Sites: The park features "paved, very big" sites that are "very easy to access." This is a significant advantage, providing a stable, clean, and level surface for your RV, regardless of its size. Both pull-through and back-in spots are generously sized to accommodate various rigs.
- Private Restroom and Shower Facilities: The park provides private toilet/shower facilities for both men and women. While one review noted a potential wait during peak times, the availability of clean, private facilities is a definite plus for many campers who value personal space and hygiene. The overall cleanliness of the location is frequently highlighted.
- Laundry Cabin with Vending Machines: For extended stays or just to refresh your wardrobe, an on-site laundry cabin is available, complete with vending machines. This amenity is incredibly useful for travelers, saving them a trip to a laundromat outside the park.
- Fishing Ponds: A delightful feature, especially for families, the park boasts "3 ponds" where kids (and adults!) can enjoy fishing. This provides a fantastic on-site recreational activity that adds to the overall appeal and family-friendliness of the park. Remember to bring your fishing poles!
What truly sets Southern Pines RV Park apart, making it a "hidden gem" for locals, are its distinctive features and the exceptional level of service provided by its family management.
- Family-Run Ownership and Exceptional Service: The park is lauded for its "super nice folks" and "extremely helpful and easy to deal with" owners. The personal attention and commitment to guest satisfaction are evident, with management being "on it" to fix any issues "asap." This level of care is often hard to find at larger, "namebrand" campgrounds.
- Spacious Concrete Pads with Amenities: Beyond just being paved, each site features a concrete pad, ensuring a level and solid foundation for your RV. Many sites also include picnic tables and fire pits, inviting cozy evenings under the Georgia sky.
- Kid-Friendly Environment: With "the kids loved fishing in the 3 ponds" and the presence of a playground, Southern Pines RV Park clearly caters to families. The ample space to roam and play makes it an excellent choice for those traveling with children.
- Continuous Growth and Improvement: Guests have noticed and appreciated the ongoing development of the park, with comments like "growth continues" and anticipation for when "the grass comes in." This indicates a commitment from the owners to continually enhance the guest experience.
- Pet-Friendly: While not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews, RV parks of this caliber and family-friendly nature often welcome pets, typically with designated areas like a dog park mentioned in some external descriptions. This makes it a suitable option for those traveling with their furry companions.
- Proximity to Southern Pines Regional Park: Located across the highway from Southern Pines Regional Park & Equestrian, guests have easy access to additional outdoor activities and recreational opportunities, enhancing the appeal for active individuals and families.

Southern Pines RV Park Reviews
I fear sharing great feedback, as I don't want to have to fight to get space in this hidden gem in the future. Southern Pines is a great new family-run (as of Apr 2024) campground. Owners were extremely helpful and easy to deal with when making reservation....and i could have spent hours talking to their father-in-law as he was maintaining the grounds....super nice folks.Sites are full hook up, paved, very big, and very easy to access.I imagine once the grass comes in it will be a really nice looking place. The only issue was restrooms....there was only one private toilet/shower for each men and women....someone went into it and was waiting 45 min to take a shower. We look forward to making this our go-to spot when going to VA appointments or travel baseball tournaments in Dublin.UPDATE: After our first great stay, we decided to stay again a few days ago. We had a minor issue with the site, but THEY WERE ON IT. Management fixed the problem asap and got everything squared away . You can't find this type of attention and service at the big "namebrand" campgrounds. Super clean location. We can't wait to come back as growth continues. THANKS AGAIN!!!
Jun 17, 2024 · G.B. ReedBooked this place last Minute cause my son had a Baseball Tournament and best thing is it’s only 1 mile away. Loved how easy the access was and pulling camper in was super easy. Pull thru spots are super big and back in spots looked great too. The kids loved fishing in the 3 ponds. The owner was really nice and made sure we were all set up good. Next tournament we will be back for sure.

May 16, 2025 · Mitchell MeltonWe came out to fish here because all the hype about the monster bass in this pond.. first thing we did was pulled into our site and hit the pond a short walk through the trail.. the campground was a truly hidden gem you can't even see from the road.. within 15 min I caught a bass so large bout snatched my rod out my hand! I reeled that sucker in one behind another although they were catch in release man I had a great time we went back up to the playground were there were tons of kids playing at the park my kids had such a great time we can't wait to come back.. we opted for the premium site witch were semi close to the bathhouse the basketball courts and were able to keep and eye on the kids they played all weekend long.. we have another trip booked last weekend of May so can't wait to come back!! Last but not least the pickle barrel was a nice touch walking distance to dine!
May 15, 2025 · Troy EstesMy husband and I visited Dublin several weeks ago and came across the sign to this RV Park. Driving through the property before they opened was enough to know it would be a beautiful site. We made reservations for May but couldn’t wait so we booked a couple of nights at the end of April and I’m so glad we did. What a serene, peaceful place. We’ll be back on our original scheduled date!!!
