Shorewood RV Resort Introduce
For residents and visitors of Oregon seeking a serene, ocean-centric RV experience, the **Shorewood RV Resort** in Rockaway Beach stands out as a unique and exceptionally well-regarded destination. More than just a campground, this resort operates as a clean, neat, and organized community that caters primarily to those seeking a more permanent or extended coastal retreat. The focus is on providing an organized, safe, and comfortable environment for guests who are looking to make the stunning Oregon Coast their home-away-from-home for prolonged periods.
The resort offers a specific niche in the Oregon RV market by specializing in **Annual RV Site Rental** and **Long Term Camping Site Rental**. This structure contributes to the quiet, well-run atmosphere, fostering a comfortable community where the overall quality and upkeep of the park are prioritized by both management and residents. Guests often note the feeling of a safe, comfortable community, indicating a high level of care for the property. While it may not be geared toward short-term, nightly stays (with many sites designated for long-term leaseholders), for an Oregonian looking for a consistent coastal getaway without the hassle of constantly booking reservations, Shorewood RV Resort offers a valuable proposition.
Its location is key—situated directly near the expansive, seven-mile stretch of sandy beaches that Rockaway Beach is famous for. This is the place for those who love the rhythm of the Oregon Coast, from the gentle spring rains to the expensive but beautiful dry summer season. The resort provides a secure base for a variety of family activities, whether you are celebrating a birthday, planning a graduation party, or simply enjoying a long spring break.
Shorewood RV Resort boasts an enviable address right on the edge of the Pacific at **17600 Ocean Blvd, Rockaway Beach, OR 97136, USA**. This location is exceptional for local Oregonians who understand the value of being near the ocean, not just near a coastal town. The resort is positioned to provide **easy, direct access to the miles of sandy beach**—a point frequently highlighted by guests, with the beach only a few minutes' walk away. This immediate proximity to the coastal terrain and incredible ocean views is arguably the resort's strongest draw.
Rockaway Beach itself is a popular North Coast destination in Tillamook County. The RV resort serves as a fantastic hub for exploring the broader area. Nearby attractions are abundant for a day trip or afternoon excursion, including the iconic Twin Rocks visible from the beach, the famous Tillamook Creamery (formerly the Tillamook Cheese Factory), and the scenic route of the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad. Downtown Rockaway Beach, with its cute shops, restaurants, and markets, is a short distance away, making it convenient to tour the town and stock up on supplies.
Accessibility within the resort is also considered a priority. The facilities offer a **wheelchair accessible entrance** and **wheelchair accessible parking lot**, ensuring that all visitors and residents can comfortably navigate the common areas. While the individual RV lots are noted to be "fairly close together," a common trait in high-demand coastal resorts, the atmosphere is consistently described as quiet and peaceful, making it ideal for those who primarily use their site for sleeping and winding down after a day of Oregon Coast adventure.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Clean, neat and organized Resort. Views are amazing. April and May are cheaper prices then summer. Dry season is expensive but so Spring is still rainy season. Price is not bad just dealing with weather.(cold, windy and rainy) family unions, birthday party, graduation party, spring break and all kinds of family activities in here such a wonderful. You can crabbing, fishing and tour cute downtown. Resort has rules if you didn’t have trouble with that. You will enjoy here. April 30 · Morai Ball
- We did a 2 night stay here in our camper with our 3 kids and enjoyed how quiet, clean, safe, and well-run everything was. The hosts were very helpful and attentive when we arrived. Bathrooms were extremely clean and well kept. It seems like most of the guests are actual residents, so it felt like a safe, comfortable community where people care about the overall quality of the place. Beach access was just a few minutes walk and absolutely beautiful. On a side note- we visited the area to go clamming and explore so we were only at the site to sleep/wind down. The lots are fairly close together so it’s definitely not a place where we’d make a campfire and hangout all day. But for us, it was perfect. Would definitely come back here the next time we are in the area! June 29 · L. M.
- Excellent beach-front location, just south of Rockaway Beach. We stayed here for two weeks in a large back-in space that fully accommodated our 40’ fifth wheel, and offered a nice small picnic area behind the unit with a fire pit and picnic table. The park is not a “resort”, and it’s quiet, casual “beachy” atmosphere was perfect for us. The park is well managed, with friendly staff, and is well supervised. Many of the spaces/units are long-term leased, and the environment is very neighborly. It’s pricey, but consistent with beach-access park costs, and well worth the price. We will definitely stay here again! July 11 · Julie Mitchell
- Peaceful, well-kept park with an incredible location on Rockaway Beach. Private beach access at the front of the park. Everything is very clean and the traffic in the winter was minimal. This is one of the cutest little RV parks we've ever seen, with attractive tiny-house style mobiles and lovely landscaping. The managers were warm and hospitable. I wouldn't recommend Shorewood for party-goers. Respect is a must at this park and we truly appreciate the environment they maintain. December 20 · R K
- Absolutely delightful! Beautiful setting on the beach with a great staff of very friendly people. Limited sites for overnighters but if you can get in you will not want to leave. Peaceful and tranquil. Some units are on an annual basis and the people are so friendly and courteous. Just a magnificent experience. We could stay here forever! Miles of beach to walk on! WOW!!!
