Omro RV Park is ideally located at 1938 E Main St, Omro, WI 54963, USA. This address places the park on the east side of Omro, a small city nestled along the picturesque Fox River in Winnebago County, Wisconsin. Its location offers a peaceful small-town experience while maintaining excellent accessibility to larger urban centers and popular attractions in the region.
A significant advantage of Omro RV Park's location is its close proximity to major transportation routes. It is situated just 5 miles west of US Highway 41, a key artery for travel through eastern Wisconsin. This makes it incredibly convenient for RVers traveling north or south through the state, providing an easy on-and-off point for a night's stay or a longer visit. The park is also approximately 8 minutes (or 8 miles) from Oshkosh, a larger city renowned for events like EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, and offering a wider array of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Appleton is about 26 minutes away, and Fond du Lac is also within a similar drive time, further expanding the accessibility to amenities.
Within Omro itself, convenience is key. Reviews highlight the ability to "walk to Piggly Wiggly 100m," which is a major benefit for restocking groceries and supplies without needing to unhook your RV. The town of Omro itself provides a charming backdrop, with the Fox River offering opportunities for fishing and boating. While some reviews mention the presence of a "Farmville smell" from local dairy farms and noise from nearby train tracks and a solid waste management company, many find these aspects manageable or even quaint. The trains, in particular, can be a delight for younger campers. Overall, the strategic location of Omro RV Park balances serene natural surroundings with practical access to essential services and regional attractions, making it a highly accessible choice for Wisconsin RV travelers.

While Omro RV Park is primarily known for its consistently low and affordable daily rates, explicit, regularly advertised promotions or special offers are not extensively detailed in public data. The park's main "promotion" appears to be its highly competitive pricing (often cited around $15-$25 per night for 30-amp electric sites), which is difficult to beat in the region. This consistent affordability acts as a standing offer in itself.
Given that the park is self-check-in and seems to prioritize simplicity and value, it's less likely to offer complex promotional codes or seasonal discounts typical of larger resort chains. However, like many independently operated RV parks, it may have informal arrangements or offer slightly better rates for extended stays (weekly or monthly, as implied by mentions of pricing options for these durations on some booking sites).
For the most accurate and up-to-date information on rates, potential long-term stay discounts, or any unadvertised special considerations, it is always recommended to contact Omro RV Park directly using the contact information provided below. The "uber friendly camphost" or owner, Sandy, would be the best source for any current offerings that might make your stay even more economical.

Finally, the park's strategic location adds to its appeal for locals. Its easy access from US Highway 41 makes it a practical stop for those traveling through the state, while its close proximity to Oshkosh means major events like EAA AirVenture are just a short drive away. The convenience of being able to walk to a Piggly Wiggly for groceries, as noted by a reviewer, further underscores its practicality for everyday needs. While the industrial surroundings and occasional "Farmville smell" are mentioned, they are often outweighed by the park's core strengths. For Wisconsin RV owners seeking a clean, affordable, and conveniently located home base for their explorations, Omro RV Park offers a highly recommended and reliable option.

What a great little park! Sandy, the owner, sweet lady and very helpful! This park is so clean and well-kept, even the showers are the cleanest I've ever seen in an RV park. Each site comes with up to 30 amp electric, there is free dump station and free water faucet to fill your tank. They've even got enclosed RV storage here. Just a really great Park overall, especially for $15 a night! Cannot beat that! Highly recommended!
Jul 25, 2019 · Laura ClingmanSep 12 2019 we traveled to Omro RV Park, site 3, 053° LR-3, paid $15 30amp electric, Verizon LTE hotspot 27 Mbps DL 23 Mbps UL, dump site, water fill point, saw notice of $5 fee for non campers, flush toilet, super-clean bathroom, private bathroom and shower rooms, modern fixtures, code entry, gravel pads, camphost uber friendly, Air Force vet, 5 miles W of US 41, convenient, walk to Piggly wiggly 100m. Would stay again. Farmville smell overpowering manure odor, may be from local dairy farm. Solid waste management company 300m SE, semi's in and out early morning, all day. Industrial area.
Sep 19, 2019 · Mike SheltonIt's a travel park, so no frills. The host was super nice. Each site has power. There is a dump station and water fill spigot. No wifi, no shade, no lending library, but good prices. Light traffic noise and a little noise from the industrial sector. Long pull through sites. Excellent showers. At $15 a night, it was a good value and we would stay again. You can walk next door to the grocery store.
Jul 30, 2022 · Chris BloomfieldLowest daily price campground in the Fox Valley. No it does not have sewer or water at the site, if you want that go somewhere else. Free water fill and dump station by the main building. Bathrooms are clean and the shower is hot. Great place for the bargain traveller. If you want other amenities there are a handful of other campgrounds in the area that offer them for more money.
Nov 04, 2019 · Robert PetersLevel site, easy access. Well maintained bathroom and shower. Electric only, 30 amp. Dump station and water spigot by building. No one on site, no laundry, no shade. Seemed safe enough to leave RV for the day to visit Green Bay. No need for a reservation, $15/night.
