★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Cute RV park with a spacious layout and a big patch of grass between our sites—perfect since we were traveling with two RVs and two families. We rode our bikes, let the kids run around, and enjoyed how quiet it was.The employee who rides around with his dog was so nice and attentive—5 stars for him! The park had 2 picnic tables, a grill, a grass patch, and plenty of room to ride around. There’s also a play area and other amenities we didn’t get to enjoy due to our short stay, but they looked great.Overall, it was very cute, comfortable, and family-friendly. We’d definitely recommend! ❤️
August 08 · Lien NguyenWe met the new owner & he guided our 5th wheel in the site. That was really nice. He is making many improvements to the RV resort which will make it a beautiful & comfortable place to say. There are full timers, tiny homes, RV sites, etc. & it is a diverse community with something for everyone. The fountains, sites with lush green grass, flowers, etc. have really made a huge improvement for all who stay here. We gave it 4 stars because it is still being remodeled & renovated, so we really didn't have access yet to all the amenities being offered. Once the renovations are finished, it will be a 5 star resort. The laundry room had only a few washers & dryers that were working & will look nice once it is painted & new equipment is installed. The bath/shower were updated & were nice & clean inside. The park was safe for walking in the evening. The game room was still being worked on, a part was being ordered for the pool...so we didn't use them. There are people working constantly to beautify & renovate this property. Despite that, we loved staying there & we'd stay again.
July 03 · PJC (Godsgirl)We stayed at Meadows of San Juan for 3 nights which is a few miles outside of Montrose Colorado in a very beautiful part of the state. When we booked the room over the phone We asked for one of the sites in the premium area which had tree coverage and verified via email that we had one of those sites locked in. Unfortunately, when we showed up that site had been given to somebody else and they had to put us in a spot with no tree coverage which with a Hybrid camper was much hotter. They refunded the difference in price for the other site but no other effort was made to make it right which would have gone a long way.But lets move on to reviewing the location. Only referring to the RV sites since that is what we used. The site is broken into the premium area closer to the road (but not too close) and the back area which had smaller sites. The premium area sites were decently sized for a RV park which some very nice between the curb side park of each site. My wife commented that the grass was even nicer than ours at home. The biggest wish is they should have planted more trees as well to provide shade and wind block. The utility setup was a little strange at some sites as they tried to probably save costs by supporting 2 sites from one area so we really had to put the camper all the way to one end of the site but it was fine. Water pressure was decent and no issues with power.Internet access was pretty decent as well with some occasional slow downs but that is expected. We checked out the pool which looked pretty nice but did not use it. They also had a indoor common area called the Barn which is used for different purposes with pool, pickle ball, and other games/TV in there. It's a pretty nice multi use space but while setup for pickle ball in the middle the space is too small but it was nice effort. In summary for this type of facility I think they do a pretty good job and I think there was still work in progress making even more improvements. If they had not made the mistake with our site assignment I probably would have given them a better rating.
June 23 · Robert GreenleeOur first mistake was trying to tent camp at an RV resort. My wife had never been tent camping before, and I thought staying somewhere with bathrooms and showers would help ease her into it. I assumed we’d have a grassy pad near some trees—not the case. We were placed on a gravel lot under a basic sunshade, which felt more like a middle school playground than a campsite.Still, we tried to make the best of it… until the night before the Fourth of July.A new group from Texas showed up and were partying hard—blasting music, drinking, playing cornhole, and being loud and obnoxious well past 10:30–11:00 PM. I politely asked them to quiet down as my wife and I were planning to get up early for a hike. They said they would—but didn’t. I went over again, this time more firmly, and was met with posturing and aggression like they wanted to start a fight.I called the number provided for after-hours assistance. No answer.Around 12:30 AM, we gave up, packed up our tent, and drove into Montrose to get a hotel. The next day, I spoke with management and requested a refund for the night we didn’t stay. They were very kind and understanding, but ultimately, no one was available when we actually needed help. It’s probably a decent place if you have a trailer or RV. But if you’re tent camping—look elsewhere. Not worth the hassle.
July 19 · Forrest NutterWe had a great visit here and would recommend this spot as it’s close to so many good spots! The people in the office were so helpful and our favorite thing was the awesome activities barn that had pickleball, pool, bowling and badminton. The pool was nice and the hot tub was hot! We hope to come back again!
