Lone Elm Mobile Home Park Introduce
For individuals and families in Oklahoma considering an alternative to traditional housing, mobile home parks often present an appealing option. Lone Elm Mobile Home Park, located in the scenic area of Claremore, Oklahoma, is one such community that offers a distinct living experience. Mobile home parks are known for providing a more affordable entry point into homeownership while fostering a sense of community among residents. At Lone Elm, the aim is to create a living environment where residents can enjoy the comforts of their own space within a neighborhood setting.
The decision to live in a mobile home park is often driven by a desire for a different lifestyle – one that might offer more space than an apartment, a lower cost of living than a traditional house, and the unique camaraderie that can develop in a close-knit community. Lone Elm Mobile Home Park, like many similar communities across Oklahoma, provides the foundational infrastructure for manufactured homes, allowing residents to lease a plot of land and enjoy the benefits of independent living with shared park management. It's a choice that many Oklahomans make to balance their budget with their housing aspirations, and understanding the nuances of such a community is key to making an informed decision.
Lone Elm Mobile Home Park is situated at 8925 OK-20, Claremore, OK 74019, USA. This location places the park along State Highway 20, providing relatively straightforward access for residents. Claremore itself is a community that balances a relaxed, small-town feel with proximity to larger urban centers like Tulsa, making it a desirable place to live for many Oklahomans. The park’s address suggests a setting that is likely somewhat removed from the immediate hustle and bustle of downtown Claremore, potentially offering a quieter environment.
However, it's important for prospective residents to note the unique topographical characteristics of the park's layout. According to feedback, "most of the lots are at the bottom of a hill." While this might contribute to a secluded feel, it also has practical implications for accessibility, particularly during inclement weather. For instance, in snowy conditions, the hill can become challenging to navigate without timely plowing or treatment. This is a critical factor for daily commutes and access to essential services in Claremore. Therefore, while the location offers convenience to State Highway 20 and the wider Claremore area, understanding the specific terrain and how it might impact daily life, especially in winter, is essential for anyone considering residency.
Mobile home parks primarily offer the basic infrastructure for manufactured homes. While specific amenities can vary greatly, common services at Lone Elm Mobile Home Park, based on general mobile home park operations and available insights, likely include:
Lot Rental: The core service is the lease of individual plots of land where residents place their mobile homes. This lease grants access to the park's maintained common areas and utility hookups.
Utility Connections: Each lot is generally equipped with connections for essential utilities such as water, sewer, and electricity. Residents typically arrange for their own utility services and pay their individual bills, though sometimes certain utilities may be part of the lot fee.
Road Maintenance: The park is responsible for maintaining the internal roads. However, as noted in resident feedback, the promptness of this maintenance, especially for challenging areas like hills during snow, can be a point of concern. Regular road upkeep is critical for safe and easy access within the community.
Community Management: There is a management presence responsible for overseeing park operations, rent collection, and enforcing community rules. Direct communication with management is key for addressing resident concerns.
Prospective residents should always inquire directly with park management about the full scope of services included in the lot rental agreement and any additional fees.
Every mobile home park has its distinct characteristics that define the resident experience. For Lone Elm Mobile Home Park, several features and highlights stand out, based on resident observations:
Community Atmosphere: Despite some challenges, there's a recurring theme of friendly neighbors. One resident specifically noted, "the neighbors are real nice," suggesting a positive interpersonal dynamic within the community. This can be a significant draw for those seeking a close-knit living environment.
Quiet Setting: The park is described as "nice, quiet," indicating a generally peaceful living environment away from excessive noise. This can be appealing for individuals or families looking for a tranquil place to call home.
Unique Topography: The park's location at the "bottom of a hill" is a notable physical characteristic. While it poses accessibility challenges during specific weather conditions, it could also contribute to a sense of seclusion and a distinct aesthetic within the community.
On-Site Management Interaction: The presence of park management and interactions, even if sometimes fraught, means there is a direct point of contact for administrative and community issues. The ability to resolve rent-related discrepancies, as described by one resident, highlights that direct communication can lead to resolutions.
It is always recommended to visit the park, observe the conditions, and if possible, speak with current residents to get a comprehensive understanding of these features and how they might align with your living preferences.

Lone Elm Mobile Home Park Reviews
Drive by and check it out. Most of the lots are at the bottom of a hill if you notice. When it snows even a little the hill becomes impossible to drive up and you're left trapped in the park until Mitch decides to clear the road. Well it stopped snowing 3 days ago and he's only now clearing the road up the hill at 5pm in the afternoon so people can go to work or get water or food or go see their loved ones. Apart from that the neighbors are real nice.

Dec 02, 2024 · Keri “KERBEAR”I would not recommend this trailer park to any of my loved ones. My mother lived here for almost a year and paid on time never late. Payment was never the same charges extra for family to stay while caring for mom when she had surgery cause extra car in an empty lot we kept the up keep of her place and two empty lots to keep the limbs from tripping my mother and there dead trees was not groomed or taken care of cause a hole in roof of moms trailer a broke window in her truck. They have wires that are underground showing never covered back up brought to there attention and the place was a lot cleaner than when mom moved in and they refuse to give deposit back cause did not give 30 day written notice even though husband talked to us and knew what was going on and health reasons this woman that runs this place is wrong and so hard to get along with we was warned and everything we was told was true do not rent from this place they will do you wrong they did my mom
