LIVE OAKS MOBILE FAMILY COMMUNITY PARK is situated at 15914 Red Star Dr, Summerdale, AL 36580, USA. This address places the community in the charming town of Summerdale, located in Baldwin County, Alabama. Summerdale offers a quieter, more rural setting compared to the bustling coastal towns, while still providing convenient access to the popular attractions of Alabama's Gulf Coast. For residents, this means a balance between peaceful living and proximity to amenities and recreational opportunities.
The accessibility of the park is generally good, with Red Star Drive connecting to main local roads, facilitating easy travel to nearby towns such as Foley and Robertsdale. These towns offer a wider array of services, including larger grocery stores, retail options, healthcare facilities, and dining establishments. For those in Alabama who work in these areas or enjoy frequent trips to the coast, the location in Summerdale provides a strategic advantage, minimizing commute times while allowing residents to return to a more relaxed home environment.
Summerdale itself is known for its agricultural roots and community-focused atmosphere, contributing to a generally calm living experience. The road network in Baldwin County is well-maintained, ensuring smooth travel for RVs and other vehicles within and around the area. While the immediate vicinity of the park on Red Star Drive suggests a residential and potentially secluded feel, its connection to the broader Summerdale area ensures that residents are not isolated from necessary services. For locals considering an RV park or mobile home lot for long-term living, the blend of rural tranquility and regional accessibility offered by this Summerdale location is a significant factor to consider.
Long-Term RV and Mobile Home Lot Rentals: The park primarily offers spaces for long-term placement of RVs and mobile homes. This caters to individuals and families seeking a stable and extended living solution rather than short-term camping.
Rent-to-Own Mobile Home Opportunities: Public information indicates that the park may offer rent-to-own programs for new 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom mobile homes. This program typically involves a down payment and monthly payments, with the goal of eventual homeownership.
Basic Utility Connections: While residents are typically responsible for their utility consumption, the park provides the necessary infrastructure for connecting to essential services like water, sewer, and electricity at each lot.
On-site Management (Implied): The presence of a "park manager" mentioned in reviews suggests there is on-site or readily accessible management responsible for overseeing the community's operations and addressing resident concerns. The effectiveness of this management is subject to individual experiences.
Common Area Maintenance (Implied): As with most mobile home and RV parks, it is implied that the management is responsible for the upkeep of common areas, internal roads, and general infrastructure within the park.
Credit and Background Checks: For rent-to-own programs or long-term leases, the park likely conducts credit checks, employment verification, and landlord references. They may also have specific income requirements (e.g., $2400 take-home pay per month) and restrictions on prior evictions (e.g., none in the last 5 years).
Pet Policy: Public information suggests there are specific pet policies, such as restrictions on dog size or breed (e.g., no dogs over 25 lbs or aggressive breeds), which are strictly enforced.
Potential for Homeownership: A significant highlight for many is the opportunity to rent-to-own new mobile homes. This program can provide a pathway to homeownership with a down payment and monthly payments, potentially leading to ownership in less than 10 years, depending on credit.
Affordable Housing Option: Mobile home and RV park living typically offers a more affordable housing solution compared to traditional stick-built homes, making it an accessible option for individuals and families in Alabama.
Community Environment (Variable): While designed as a "family community," the actual atmosphere can vary. Some residents may find a quiet environment, while others might experience challenges related to neighborly conduct and noise, as suggested by reviews.
Access to New Homes: For those interested in the rent-to-own program, the availability of "brand new 3 bed 2 bath home" is a notable feature, offering modern living spaces within the park.
Proximity to Coastal Alabama: Located in Summerdale, the park offers relatively easy access to the popular coastal areas of Alabama, including beaches, recreational activities, and tourist attractions (e.g., "20 minutes to the beach").
Structured Application Process: The park outlines clear requirements for potential residents, including income verification, landlord references, and credit checks, which can provide a sense of structure for the community.

Seemed to be a quiet place when I first moved here but the neighbors across from me continuously have sheriff called out for some unknown reason , they're loud and have no respect for neighbors , they've even got into a heated argument with the park manager, the kids play basketball ball at 11:30 at night and roam the streets , it's not a peaceful place to live and I've seen quiet people get evicted but these people somehow manage not to be evicted when they should, me and several other people in my area are sick of it and are ready to move , and it's getting trashy with junk in the yards, man what is give to go back and not have ever moved here when I did 😭😭

Jun 07, 2020 · Josh JonesDon't move to this place. The well water has rust in it and no telling what else. It needs to be serviced. And the inside of the trailers are fixer up projects. I have been slowly fixing up the inside. But there is a bad septic backup problem and at the signing I was told the owner would take care of that. I have asked a few times for it to be cleaned out and so far they just tell me to call a Plummer. I did call a Plummer and they don't do septic work. This place is a joke. Drive right by this place, don't stop!! Correction..... Meant Magnolia Oaks Trailer park
