La Casita Mobile Home and RV Park, located in Kansas City, MO, presents itself as an option for those seeking a place to call home for their RV or mobile home. As locals, we know the importance of finding a community that not only meets our housing needs but also prioritizes the well-being and convenience of its residents. This article aims to provide a comprehensive look at La Casita Mobile Home and RV Park, based on publicly available information and community feedback, to help you make an informed decision.
Choosing an RV or mobile home park involves more than just finding a spot; it's about finding a living environment that supports your lifestyle. While the allure of community living and a dedicated space is strong, it's crucial to delve into the practicalities of daily life within the park. This includes understanding the management's approach to resident concerns, the accessibility of essential services, and the overall quality of life offered. We believe in providing a balanced perspective to ensure that your expectations align with the realities of living at La Casita.
La Casita Mobile Home and RV Park is situated at 3210 Crystal Ave, Kansas City, MO 64129, USA. This location places it within the vibrant and diverse landscape of Kansas City, Missouri. Its position in an urban setting suggests relatively good access to city amenities, including shopping centers, medical facilities, entertainment options, and employment opportunities. For residents who commute or frequently access various parts of the city, this address could offer a degree of convenience.
Accessibility to major roads and public transportation routes is often a key factor for those living in mobile home and RV parks. While specific details on direct public transport links from the park's immediate vicinity are not universally available, being within Kansas City implies a broader network is typically accessible. Driving access to main thoroughfares would likely facilitate commutes and travel throughout the greater Kansas City area, which is a significant advantage for mobile home and RV owners who value mobility and connectivity to urban resources. The location, nestled within a residential area of the city, means residents are part of an established neighborhood, which can offer a sense of community beyond the park itself.
Based on the nature of a mobile home and RV park, general services typically include:
- Space for mobile homes and RVs.
- Utility hookups (e.g., electricity, water, sewer), though the condition and reliability of these should always be verified.
- Basic maintenance services for the common areas of the park.
- Waste disposal solutions (e.g., dumpsters or curbside pickup).
However, it is important to note that recent resident feedback indicates significant concerns regarding the waste disposal service. Residents have reported a change from curbside trash service to centralized dumpsters, located up to four blocks away. This change has led to concerns about convenience and safety, particularly for elderly residents, and has also been associated with issues like flat tires in the vicinity of the new dumpster areas. This specific feedback suggests that while a waste disposal service is provided, its current implementation has led to considerable resident dissatisfaction and potential hardship.
When considering any mobile home or RV park, understanding its features and highlights is crucial. Based on resident experiences, here are some points to consider regarding La Casita Mobile Home and RV Park:
- Community Environment: Some ex-residents have expressed that they generally "enjoyed living in this community," suggesting that the interpersonal aspects among residents might be positive. The sense of a residential community can be a significant draw for many.
- On-Site Management/Maintenance: The presence of maintenance staff is implied, as per the reported interactions with a "maintenance guy." This suggests there are personnel available to address certain issues, though the responsiveness and helpfulness of these interactions vary based on feedback.
- Established Location: Being in Kansas City, MO, means residents have access to a wide array of urban amenities, jobs, and services. This established location can be a major benefit for those who need city access.
- Rental and Purchase Options: As a mobile home and RV park, it generally offers spaces for both RVs and opportunities to rent or purchase mobile homes within the community. However, concerns have been raised about the transparency and condition of properties sold by management, with one ex-resident reporting pre-existing water damage and mold in a supposedly renovated home.
- Rules and Regulations: Like all communities, La Casita has rules, such as those regarding lawn maintenance. Non-compliance can result in fees, indicating a structured approach to community upkeep, albeit one that can lead to additional charges for residents.
It's vital for prospective residents to thoroughly investigate these aspects, particularly in light of the feedback on trash service changes and property conditions, to ensure they align with personal expectations and needs.

La Casita Mobile Home and RV Park Reviews
Recently, our curbside trash service was replaced with three large dumpsters, as far as four blocks away for residents; following concerns from the trash company regarding the safety of their drivers. When I inquired about losing our curbside service and expressed concern for the safety of our community. I was told by a maintenance guy, 'If you don't like it, you can move out.'While I have generally enjoyed living in this community, this change raises serious concerns about the well-being of the tenants. The safety and convenience of residents, particularly the elderly, should be a top priority. Expecting individuals to walk long distances in potentially hazardous conditions, especially during winter months, poses unnecessary risks of injury.Additionally, I have personally experienced a flat tire from driving near the new dumpster area, and several of my neighbors have voiced similar frustrations. It’s surprising that no formal petition has been initiated, or that the trash company has not been held accountable for neglecting the safety of the community. A more reliable trash service that can meet the needs of the residents should be hired to restore the dependable service we previously had for decades.
Oct 01, 2024 · Justice BernalI am an ex-resident at the mobile park and I must say as much as I enjoyed living at the community itself I am highly disappointed with the management team for various amounts of reason firstly, the house we got sold was totally different than what we were promised on getting there was a pre-existing water damage in the establishment and my girlfriend was getting sick for really weird unknown reasons. After leaving the property we took a look behind a wall and noticed there were large amounts of mold that was deposited over an extensive period of time, even though we were promised that the entire house was renovated and totally brand new Also regarding the garbage no one appreciates the fact that they literally have to walk blocks away just to throw a single bag of garbage away the very fact that this trailer park takes priority over a garbage company rather than they’re very own tennis is outrageous like seriously what safety concerns do you guys really have to take into consideration when it comes to garbage people there’s no one here posing any safety risks to them at all. I highly recommend anybody thinking about moving in to this trailer park to do a lot of research beforehand. Make sure the place that you’re getting is what they say it is and make sure there’s no pre-existing issues with the house because they will sit there and not take any accountability for basically lying to you and then blame you for when things break on the property. It’s also pretty sad that if I don’t do my grass I get charged $50 a week because the maintenance has to do it.
Jun 18, 2025 · xayne 90My friends live here and they are great. You know I do and don't understand lot rent but it's a little lame you can straight on your trailer and still have to pay every single month for some hookups on a lot. Just like paying for a trailer I think it should be a finite thing to where you can pay it off. Anyway it's a nice place as far as I know
