Jamaica Bay Village Reviews
Been in Jamaica Bay 14 years now. Great atmosphere and amenities. Our community manager is very dedicated to keeping and maintaining the beauty and tranquility that Jamaica Bay is known for. I have been a full-time resident and love our seasonal residents. They come here for a reason..... to enjoy all the amenities that make this place so special!!!!
Mar 03, 2025 · Pat BollingerI’ve lived here going on 6 yrs and I’ve never in my life have been treated with so much rudeness and disrespect nobody cares about rules here and people running stop signs and flying through like it’s 41 then today I drove my sons car in and a female security guard asked me to give my i.d I asked a simple question as to why if I live here? No other security guard has asked me for a I.d when I give my name and address but She got an attitude and tells me how do I know if you live here without your id?? She went off on me that I pay for security service and she’s doing her job.. the funny thing about her comment a few months back a resident threatened to shoot me and my son and my husband only because he got pissed off about me stopping at the stop sign to long for him. he was in a hurry but i called the security gate and they didn’t do a damn thing so I showed the office the video of him threatening me and almost hitting my car passing me and they did nothing about it either..so I’m guessing because he knows someone? But They never called me saying they addressed the situation no concern at all so I called the cops on him and of course he wasn’t home when he went to knock on his door but my rant is don’t say I’m paying for security service and nobody does a damn thing about people driving fast or drunk people threatening you and I won’t even start a review on lot rent but it’s ridiculous!!
May 18, 2025 · Denise EvansNew pool and hot tub rules are hot garbage. Do not recommend. If you want to live in a dystopian prison then just rob a bank, at least your meals will be free.
Mar 08, 2025 · Will Roselyou will meet some of the rudest people you will have ever met in your life here. they also might be related to you :) have fun!
Apr 02, 2025 · Amadeus BassVery nice place to live if you're looking for an "adults only" community. It's not kid friendly, meaning there isn't a playground for the residents to take their grandchildren to play when they visit "for the day." It is a gated community, and the gate operators are pretty good at remembering their residents' faces. They have a dog park located back by the "onsite dump" (VERY Large dumpsters). The other amenities are very nice, such as the pool, hot tub, and sauna. The bathrooms and changing rooms for the pool are incredibly nice and kept clean. Overall, the park in itself is pretty nice in a decent area. There are still quite a few homes that haven't been repaired, though, from the last hurricane that went through there. Those who did repair or replace their homes did a very nice job with beautiful landscaping.
