Fairview Estates Reviews
I completely agree with everyone saying not to move here! It is horrible! Have too many complaints for the rent to be so expensive!!! Water shuts off all the time! It's brown most of the time and they have the nerve to send a separate bill for the BROWN water that get cut off all the time! And yes; anything left out gets stolen! Our lawnmower was stolen ! They quick to tell u to cut the small yard or will fine u but other lots have there grass very tall ; the ones where no one lives in! We even had our trash can dissappear last week!! Now who has to deal with a stolen trash can!? Don't move here!
Jan 10, 2025 · Lauren LeBlancI wish I would have read the reviews FIRST! Been here 2 months the water hasn’t been clean since day once national water infrastructure has issued a boil advisory well it’s 2 months still not resolved, my AC unit went out 2 weeks ago! Ac the office manager stopped responding to emails. I’ve been very patient and humble but this is unacceptable I’ve been here 2 months and the only thing good I can say is the trailer is nice the area is quiet but not having clean water and no Ac is horrible, having to pay a water bill and still buy jugs of water to cook brush your teeth because the water is under boil advisory and has been for 2 months
Nov 19, 2024 · Brittany GoodwinIf I could give 0 stars, I would. The WORST management company I’ve ever dealt with. They will tell you water and trash is included in rent then you’ll randomly receive a bill in your name without notice. Calling for maintenance is a joke. They will find any and every reason to add a charge to your rent. Autumn who works in the office, took the keys from me after my lease was up, and I asked if there was anything I needed to sign was told no then a few weeks later rent was STILL taken out of my account and received another water bill even after vacating the property two weeks prior. I have yet to receive a refund from the unauthorized transaction.
Nov 08, 2024 · Aubrie EmersonOn 9/30/24 I went to Fairview mobile home park to inquire about renting a lot in one of their other parks Smiths Village . Smiths Village was promised not to be a flood zone and I proceeded to pay the $350 deposit to hold lot #4. I was told we'd sign the rental contract on a later date when she could draw up a contract after I have filled out an application online with Nelson Communitys. Which I did no problem the app fee was listed as none refundable ok no prob paid and filed . The deposit never was listed as non refundable. I never resided in any of the parks owned by Nelson Communitys the deal fell through due to Smiths Village being in fact a flood zone according to FEMA. From which I received a grant to replace my hurricane damaged home She offered one of the other parks but I declined upon finding another in the same area as Smiths Village . I've currently been calling for 2 weeks left several messages the office manager herself has yet to talk to me but her staff made the comment it was none refundable. And yes I raised my voice on the phone and yep she sounded like she going to claim to be victimized because I did so ( yelled never cussed ) Sorry lady but I'm not sorry if it wass your money you'd react the same way no matter how non chalant you try to play it .Despite I never even lived on the property or signed any documents to support that it's non refundable . I have left a message for their corporate office and realize I should have heeded the bad reviews for this place if this is how they want to conduct their business. The corporate office as well as others should be made very aware and yes I am demanding my $350 back and now just for the inconvenience factor also the Boom app $30 fee as well since this can't possibly be legal even renters have a right to have deposits returned
Nov 17, 2024 · Zina Morgan**Fairview Estates Trailer Park - A Nightmare Experience** LakeCharles Location. This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I have been living at Fairview Estates Trailer Park for several months, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. If you're considering moving here, think twice!First and foremost, the management is incredibly rude and unprofessional. Lakisha, the manager, has been dismissive and unhelpful I've approached her with a concern. She seems more interested in making excuses than actually solving problems. Told me to get out of her office. The maintenance at Fairview Estates is practically nonexistent. I have been dealing with severe plumbing issues for months, and despite multiple requests, nothing has been done. The water is brown , and all they will tell you is it will clear up, Water leaks, clogged drains, and broken fixtures have made living here unbearable. Additionally, other maintenance problems like faulty electrical outletsThey have shown a complete lack of care for the residents. They ignore complaints, fail to provide updates, and generally make it clear that our comfort and safety are not their priority.Overall, Fairview Estates Trailer Park has been an absolute disaster. The lack of maintenance and the rude management make it a place I cannot recommend to anyone. Save yourself the stress and find somewhere else to live.---
