Covington Estates Mobile Home Park Reviews
Don't move here. We go without running water constantly. We are on day 2 at the moment. No warning...no calls...nobody to call. I will be contacting the Gaston County Health Department, on this case. ***UPDATE**** 2 days later and we still have no running water. The state has even been involved.
Jan 28, 2025 · Shannon JacksonJust writing about the 94 Edge trailer I leased 4 years ago that im still paying on for another year. They told us floors had been remodeled. Four years later having to put new floor down in livingroom and master bedroom. They went cheap using plaster board running with the joists, then they threw killz on top of it to cover up molding, then threw carpet down to hide it to make it look like it was good. You do not put carpet on plaster because you have to keep carpet clean by shampooing it, every few months plus mositure factors in also. After 4 yrs basically the carpet was holding everything up.
Mar 24, 2025 · MichaelWe live off the road in Berkeley oaks also owned by this company Cairn communities. We've been using the oven for heat for the past 3 years and we have a crack in the bathtub that we reported two years ago and we just keep getting ignored we also have a dead tree hanging over our back deck that keeps dropping gigantic branches onto our deck. Management is non-existent they just ignore us. Just letting you know what kind of people are running this dump. Luckily you can call code enforcement and they will make them fix things otherwise they will have to pay steep fines. Don't forget that's code enforcement. Every city has one.
Nov 23, 2024 · Barry Kanter11/24/2023: The residents are back to hanging out at the mailboxes in the middle of the night again...highly doubtful they are checking their mail. Tonight it was a shootout of some type...12 rounds fired. What a shame that the Management continues to rent to addicts and other low lifes.Drugs continue to abound in this MH park. The traffic in/out is 100x the number of MH in the park. People from the park throw trash in the streets by the mailboxes, plus used syringes, used condoms, alcohol bottles, food containers. Management IS aware but says she is "too busy with 2 MH parks". On weekends & holidays I have counted 157 vehicles come/go in a 4 hour time period. We hear gun shots almost daily from in & around the park. People have been found in yards urinating on cars, drunk, hiding the burglary 'kits' under trees. WE ARE WATCHING YOU!! YOU CANNOT RUIN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD!02/05/2021: The MH community owners are a large Corporation in Michigan. The Gaston Co. Police contacted them back in 2017. They bought the sign for the entrance, like that would change anything. I see little change in 4 yrs. Residents still hang at the mailboxes at all hours and it's not to pick up their mail. They still leave their trash there.2020: they put up a fancy sign at the entrance road...it does not do anything to make the place safe or more livable.update: 08/04/2021: NOTHING at all has changed. They did put up a pleasing-to-the-eyes sign at the entrance but the "traffic" enters & exits as per usual. You just can't fix druggies. A fancy sign at the entrance does NOT make it a more desirable place to live.
Mar 03, 2024 · Holly JayeNeed to get neighborhood paved through park, it's damaging cars tearing up ball joints with speed humps and potholes. Instead of filling in potholes then coming back after hard rain and traffic.
