Buzzards Roost RV Park Introduce
Howdy, fellow Texans! When you're cruising through our great state in your RV, whether it's for an extended work assignment or a temporary stay, finding the right RV park is more than just parking your rig. It's about finding a place that fits your needs, offers convenience, and perhaps even a sense of community. Today, we're taking a candid look at Buzzards Roost RV Park in Baytown, Texas. For those considering this park, it's important to have a clear understanding of what it offers, especially from the perspective of local users who might be looking for long-term solutions.
An RV park fundamentally provides dedicated spaces with essential hookups—typically for water, electricity, and sewer—allowing recreational vehicle owners to live comfortably on the road. Beyond these basics, RV parks can vary widely in their amenities, atmosphere, and suitability for different types of stays. For us Texans, especially those who work in various industries across the state or travel extensively for leisure, RV parks are a vital part of our mobile lifestyle. They offer flexibility, often at a more economical rate than traditional housing, and can serve as a home away from home. Buzzards Roost RV Park, located in a bustling area of Baytown, appears to cater significantly to long-term residents, making it a relevant option for those seeking extended stays in the area. Understanding its specific characteristics, as highlighted by actual customer experiences, is crucial for setting appropriate expectations and determining if it’s the right fit for your needs.
Buzzards Roost RV Park is located at 8011 FM 3180 Rd, Baytown, TX 77523, USA. This address places it within Baytown, a significant city in the greater Houston metropolitan area, known for its industrial presence, particularly in the energy and petrochemical sectors, as well as its coastal environment.
The accessibility of Buzzards Roost RV Park is influenced by its proximity to major roads and commercial areas. FM 3180 Road is a known route in Baytown, suggesting straightforward access for RVs. A key point noted in customer reviews is that the park is "directly behind a strip mall." This proximity can be a double-edged sword; on one hand, it means immediate access to retail centers, shopping, and potentially dining options, which is a significant convenience for daily needs. On the other hand, it might imply a less secluded or natural setting than some RVers prefer. Baytown itself is well-connected by highways, including Interstate 10, making the park relatively accessible for those traveling from other parts of Texas or beyond. This location can be particularly advantageous for individuals working in Baytown's industrial facilities, offering a short commute to various job sites. While the park’s immediate surroundings include commercial development, its location within Baytown means residents still have access to the city's broader attractions, such as the Baytown Nature Center, Pirates Bay Water Park, and local historical sites, offering opportunities for leisure and exploration when not at work.

These are fundamental for comfortable RV living.
- Laundry Facilities: The park features a laundromat with "washers and dryers," providing an on-site solution for laundry needs. Buzzards Roost RV Park Reviews
I stayed here for 8 months. It was a great place to live at. Mrs. Valerie was the lady in charge there for the first few months we were there. She was an awesome person who always had an amazing attitude and was very friendly. In March 2021 they hired a younger new lady who was very rude and would never be in the office. The only time she greeted me nicely was when I went to pay the rent and her boss was there. I struggled to even pay my rent because she was never there and never answered the phone. The laundromat was a pigstalk and the security cameras were always off in the last months I was there. Irresponsibility was her middle name. Persons like her shouldn't be allowed to work with costumers. Period.
Sep 24, 2021 · Sara VThe park is directly behind a strip mall. This is a small park and it appears to be mostly full time people. The site we were in was behind the strip mall and the site was too short for our RV. The trashcan was shared with the strip mall and there was glass and trash on the ground by the dumpster. We did not feel safe here and left early. We will not stay here again.
Apr 28, 2021 · Garry GWe had stayed at Buzzards Roost a few times a couple of times a while back. Our first stay in 3years. Entire park is kept-up, landscape is maintained no kneehigh grass. Residents are mostly transient factory & plant workers. Relatively quite. No drama. Management is friendly, helpful. Great local info, and guidance. Rates are extremely competitive to the RV Resorts in area. There are laundry facilities. If all you need is safe, clean park with hook-ups, this is it. 5💫A+
May 30, 2024 · Gerald FerrellAlways a great RV Park. Always nice and clean. The employees are always very helpful.
May 11, 2025 · Michael CoxThey don't distrubute mail legally, they hold it in the office so if it's the weekend or before 11am and after 4pm Monday through friday your not getting it. Also they don't follow state and federal lease laws by any means. They have people that like to start stuff and wanna fight you then like to call the cops when you get sick of it. They won't evict the people who start stuff because 1 of them cleans for the manager and is her friend. Also if you don't mind sewage leaking from people's campers then you will be ok because the manager won't correct it or make the tenant fix so enjoy she smell if your near those people. Some of the guys will walk out of thier camper and just pee right in front of women and children and the manager will turn a blind eye and pretend she didn't know about it.
