The features and highlights of Avalon Mobile Home Park, as described by public feedback, present a candid view of the living experience. It's important for locals to be aware of all facets before making a decision:
- Affordable Price Point: One of the primary attractions for some residents appears to be the relatively lower rent compared to other mobile home parks or housing options in the area. This can be a key factor for those on a tight budget.
- Older Community Aesthetic: Descriptions suggest the park has an older, unmaintained appearance, with references to "old and dilapidated" structures and a general lack of upkeep from property ownership.
- Poor Road Conditions: A recurring highlight from reviews is the presence of "huge pot holes" on the internal roads, indicating significant maintenance issues that could impact vehicle wear and tear.
- Lack of Amenities Compared to Price Increases: Residents have noted rent increases without a corresponding improvement in amenities. Unlike some other mobile home parks that feature playgrounds, clubhouses, or swimming pools, Avalon Mobile Home Park reportedly lacks these communal facilities, making the rent hikes seem "unfair" in comparison.
- Appearance of Individual Lots: Reviews describe yards as unkempt, with "junk and scrap piled everywhere," and overgrown weeds and grass, creating an overall impression of neglected individual properties. This suggests a potential lack of enforcement of community appearance standards.
- Utility Interruptions: A significant concern raised by a resident was being "without water for more than 36 hours," highlighting potential issues with essential utility reliability.
- Perception as "Slum Lord Low Income Property": The combined feedback paints a picture that some perceive as an "epitomy of slum lord low income property at its best," indicating serious concerns about the living conditions and management's dedication to property upkeep.

Avalon Mobile Home Park Reviews
Rent was raised and without water for more than 36 hours. Rent went up with a comparison to other MHPs with playgrounds, clubhouses and even two of three having swimming pools. Rather unfair in my opinion
Oct 27, 2022 · john boverieIt's old and dilapidated from the front, all the way though the park, to the back. NOTHING has been maintained by property ownership. The roads are animal with huge pot holes. Each mobile home here looks like something straight out of Sanford & Son with junk and scrap piled everywhere, none of the yards are mowed. Weeds and grass reach well over the fence lines of h units that have fences. It I the epitomy of slum lord low income property at its best.
Jun 18, 2022 · Sheri Leggett HuebnerAfter living here a few months now I'm very disappointed with the owners and managers I constantly have people blocking me in my driveway because parents park in front of my home and pickup their kids and other renters drop off their rent into the old office and have even had some renters harass my dog just because she's a barker, and they think no ones home or watching I have tries to address some of my concerns and issues to the managers and they lie and come up with a lot of excuses and they never return messages or answer phones, if u do rent ur trailer its Impossible to get anything fixed and repaired properly its more because of the maintenance manager cuts corners and never takes anyone problems seriously
Apr 18, 2018 · Bianca MendezThe park was built by my dad. It was beautiful and run well while they had it. It has deteriorated alot over the years since they sold it years ago.
