Wolford Campground & Marina Reviews
It was a decent campground. The sites weren't great, but the area was really pretty. It looked like a lot of rvs were stored there for the summer, like people came up on weekends. This made it really quiet while we were there on a Wednesday. The sites weren't level as stated on the website. However, it wasn't hard to level. The electrical box was on the camp side which was poorly designed but if you run your cable under the rv it works. We did have to dig down the area for the stairs to be able to close the door.
Jun 25, 2025 · Carrie ButlerThis was a great, quick one right stop for us. It's definitely tailored more towards RVs or walk-in tents(up on the hill). We have rooftop tents, so it is easy for us to really camp anywhere. However, having a more "tent" friendly location would have been better. But the park itself is super clean, big and great areas to have a picnic and fire. It overlooks the late and had great views. The bathrooms were clean and stocked, and they had water to fill up our jigs/tanks.
Oct 08, 2024 · Hope HughesWe stayed two nights in September 2024. The grounds were very well maintained, and the bathrooms were very clean. We don’t typically use full hookups, as we have a pop up trailer. The electricity was great. We kept warm at night with our furnace. The location is beautiful. We will definitely go back.
Sep 16, 2024 · Andrea NaleWhat an amazing experience we had at the Wolford Marina Boat Rental.Doug and Kristin welcomed us so warmly. The check-in process and their assistance was exceptional. Beautiful lake. Beautiful boat. Looking forward to come back!!Thank you.
Aug 22, 2024 · Jack ErlangerMy husband and I stayed here for 10 days. The rv spots are some of the most spacious I’ve been in and the whole park is kept very orderly and clean. The bathrooms were tidy, however my husband did notice that when the park got busier some guests weren’t as respectful. The staff does an amazing job of staying on top of things, so that is no shade to the owners/staff. The water and dump station is accessible. The lake? Come on, amazing. The location of this rv park is incredible and my dog had a blast running in the water. Also the proximity to the town is nice for necessities.I highly recommend this park!
