Timberland Lake Campground Reviews
If I could give zero stars I would. I camping with my daughter on Father's Day and was verbally assaulted by the seasonal friends of the owners after I asked them to not walk thru my site. They then said they would run over my tent with my daughter In it with their giant lifted pickup truck with stickers all over it(you can guess)She was 7 and horrified to hear this. Scared to death at the people screaming at her. Disgusting, trashy threating and the worst experience I had camping ever. The seasonal campers there are rude, loud and nasty to anyone who isn't a 'regular'. They called myself and my daughter liars and we had to leave. I reversed my credit card charges and would never ever camp In this horror show ever again. To call a child a liar, horrifying!!!!
Jun 14, 2025 · Michael Wiehl (The Dispensary Guy)Timberlake Camp ground back in 1980s. I used to keep my pop-up scamper there year round. And come down on the weekends just to enjoy the quietness. Haven’t been there in a few years but plan to travel up from Florida and stay for a few days before traveling on to Nova Scotia Canada

May 29, 2025 · Nicholas GalleganStayed there one night while traveling through New Jersey. Made telephone reservations and the man taking the reservation was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived at the campground our first impression was not good. The place looked run-down with almost all campers full-timers or vacation spots who had multiple things like golf carts, tents, etc. stored at their sites. All camp roads were dirt and sand. Sites were uneven with ambiguous boundaries between sites. The neighbor had his truck parked in our site, and a golf cart was also parked in our site. We had to ask them both to move before we could access our site.We went to the pool which was large and beautiful. The bottom was a blue stone surface which was easy on the feet. The problem was apparently the filter and skimmers were not working because there were leaves and trash in the pool. The staff at check-in were friendly and helpful. The campground was quiet.
Jul 11, 2024 · Lacreta CarrWe came with my ten year old brother for the water weekend and had the best time. “Grandma Dawn” was so helpful, kind and supportive and sure to include everyone in everything. Peggy at the pool was helpful, fun to talk to and so sweet. The staff at the store were all so kind and helpful too. We loved the staff and our experience with all the activities for the kids. The paddle boats were so relaxing and the community you have here was friendly and welcoming and we cannot wait to return. Thanks for everything y’all!
