Telluride Town Park Campground Reviews
A truly amazing and luxurious-feeling campground. Spectacular views with river access. Big, spacious camp sites with picnic tables and grills. Dark and quiet at night. Very clean and modern facilities, but showers are coin-operated. The campground is very close to town and multiple hikes. We had a river-front site and it was so nice sleeping to the sound of running water. Although, it was freezing in the morning, so bring layers. We only stayed one night, but I wish we were staying the whole week. Will be back!
Jul 06, 2025 · Dilara BThis is, by far, the best campsite I have ever stayed at! It was amazing! Clean restrooms and showers, baseball fields, volleyball courts, plenty of friendly people and wonderful vibes!
Jun 26, 2025 · Jennifer MarshallTown Park is an amazing campground, literally right next to (a short, scenic walk to) town, with excellent amenities including clean and renovated bathrooms with showers (coin-operated), a dishwashing station, and WiFi. Both tent camping and RVs allowed. There are several streams running through camp, along with a larger river and waterfall. We stayed here for a week and wish we could stay longer (there’s a 7 day limit). Best to book when the sites become available as the campground is in high demand (though can check periodically as people cancel). The campground host Fred is a great guy, friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our time here!
Aug 27, 2024 · Josh LeveyBeautiful campground right next to the town. Couldn't be more convenient. The installations are very well kept, all part of the town park, with tennis courts, pool, big green field, auditorium. Bathrooms are clean, but you need to pay to take a shower. Understandable, since they are part of the park, not just the campground. Right next to the San Miguel river, with ultra clear water, but really cold, even in the summer, and surrounded by majestic mountains, this is a beautiful campground to overnight.
Sep 13, 2023 · Peter Hey (RV PLANET)$45 a night, no hookups, coin showers, and even though we were parked snug in our site, it didn't stop people literally walking under our open windows while they cut through our site to use the bathroom from the park. Not once, not twice, but many time. Kind of startling, to say the least, when you see a strange man's head at your screen.
