Feb 27, 2024 · Uhland MichaelBeautiful park, clean and safe campground, great fishing. Can't wait to go back!! **UPDATE** 5/16/2023 We stayed for one night about 1-1/2 weeks ago at the same campsite on our way home from a week in far western NC and wished we could have stayed longer... Still love this campground and there are several sites with easy access to the stream for fishing anytime. Which I did, though I did not catch anything this time. Gorgeous park, great visitor center, and a well-maintained campground & facilities!
May 16, 2023 · Kikster3317 S****** (KiksterChick3317)No sewer hookups being a state park. I think it's great for tent camping and fantastic for hiking. Plenty of places to wade on the creek and cookout too. I LOVED that the rangers drove through checking on things, cleaning up, and generally keeping a good eye on the place. We felt safe.
Jul 01, 2021 · WL RayIt's a very pretty place and very accessible, if you need the bathroom while camping it's right there, and if you wanna swim the lake is right beside it. And it's a pretty place to fish to.
