Riffe Lake Campground Reviews
Stayed 2 nights in T-5. Our site was decent but almost couldn't accommodate my large tent. The staff was very nice and helpful They have a large playground for the kids and a horse shoe pit and tetherball. The main attraction is the lake which offers amazing views and clean water for fishing and swimming. The walk to/from the lake is down a steep hill which can be very slippery if wet. I had to haul my paddle board up and down which is difficult but not impossible.Cons:Stinging Nettle around the property be careful walking on trails or off path.Hills: I'm a fairly active person but going up and down the hills during the trip took its toll.Firewood: The firewood provided by the campground was wet and difficult to light. I recommend bringing a duraflame fire starter or something similar.Porta-Potties: The Porta-Potties were very ripe and unpleasant to use. They're cleaned once a week on Tuesdays and unfortunately we stayed on a Sunday and Monday.

Jun 20, 2025 · natalie goughWe stayed at this lovely campground for 9 months while we were working in the area 😁 Managers are friendly and helpful, sites are spacious and the area has lots to do if you love the outdoors. 2 hours from Seattle or Portland and only an hour to Mt. Rainier or Mt St. Helen's.
Apr 09, 2025 · Heather HelferThere are lots of pets and kids at this campground. The office was open later than most and they were super friendly. The full hook up trailer spots were nice and deep. Our spot backed up to the trees so there was decent shade. Nice fire pit and picnic table. Wood for sale at the store. It’s close to two great places to fish. The kids liked the playground. The staff was great, especially the grounds manager who did rounds until 2am to make sure none of the camping groups got too rowdy.
Aug 15, 2024 · SHANNAReserved a group site at this campground and it was great! Great customer service! Heidi was amazing! This campground felt very safe, amazing views, even saw some deer. The walk to the water isn’t too far and downhill. Campsites are so well maintained, the grass was so soft. Bathrooms were clean every time I went in. There’s a man that does security and makes sure quiet hours are enforced which is nice when trying to sleep. Plenty of room for 9 people and 5 cars at our site. Definitely will come back.
