★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The park is quiet. However, I think it is too expensive for what it offers. It is a basic park. It has no laundry, no bathrooms, in summer they don't cut the grass frequently, they let the grass grow long enough to cut it which makes it very buggy. It seems to me that the charge is excessive per additional week.
July 19 · Sara LopezBest campground and RV park near Roanoke Rapids, NC is in Weldon, NC! The owner, Greg, is awesome! I highly recommend this park, if your passing through or need a place to settle in for a week or a few months. A gem just off I-95.
August 12 · Kellye HancockLove this place , the owner is very niece and always makes sure everyone is happy , all packages are under his covered patio , very clean and quite ❤️
March 11 · Debbie GFirst the positives: 1) availability, no need to even reserve, perhaps not the case in April during striper bass run in the Roanoke river; 2) good number of shady sites; 3) plenty of full service sites (50A service only though). The negatives: 1) no bath house; 2) sites not paved or gravelled, they are either grass or muddy messes; 3) advertise $40/day (which is on the high side for what they offer) then when you get there they charge an additional $5/day if you use heat or A/C; 4) the owner/manager Greg appears nice until there is a problem then he is very unhelpful. I left a tool on the site and it took 3 phone calls before he would answer, then he was very defensive claiming that he had looked for the tool and could not find it and that no one in the campground would take it because they were all honest people, as if he could vouch for everyone that stays there. I will not use them again and do not recommend.
June 08 · Hector SotolongoPerfect for what it is. We pulled in late on New Years Eve and while they were closed we were able to setup and settle with the owner in the morning after a very long drive. Full hook-ups and pull through spaces, right off I-95. Owner is very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend if you need a place to stop over for a night or two.
