4.0
We stayed at the Aspen Alcove and the entire experience exceeded all expectations. We had a request, which they executed flawlessly. When we arrived, we had a couple of questions. I emailed the team and they responded quickly. Very pet friendly with two bag/waste stations and plenty of space to walk the dogs. We did bring our own dog beds to prevent marking. We explored the National Forest via an access gate on the property. For meals, we didn’t need to use the outdoor blackstone because the microwave and hotplate in the cabin, with the pans and utensils, were more than enough. The mini fridge was just big enough for what we needed, kept the eggs and other meats/cheeses, and fruit cold. We found cream and sugar for coffee at the community coffee station in the Bath House. Although we had a cabin with a bathroom, the Bath House was fairly close to most cabins. The bathrooms and showers seemed great and very clean; there’s even one large enough to be an accessible bathroom. We chatted with a couple of people working on final touches in the new cabin next to ours and they were super friendly. Despite being only 15 min from town, it felt like a secluded getaway. All the fine details and small touches made whole experience that much better. We will definitely be back! - Danyel Baker
