We are a 40 members group that visited the camp during the Memorial Day long weekend. It has all the basic facilities. We had a wonderful time here. This campsite is close to the i5 fwy from an hour drive from LA, then you take an exit at 195 NB and 10 mins drive will take you to this beautiful campground. Easy access to lake. Saw a few rabbits in campsite and deer near pyramid lake.Host is very nice and friendly. She politely answered all our questions and she visits the site in the morning to clean the restrooms. We wish they will built a shower soon to make it as the most popular campsite in SoCal.P.S. Google maps said its closed when we reached here after 9pm but we just ignored and proceeded. It took exactly to the group site.Pros :Easy access to i5.Plenty of drinking/tap water.Restrooms are clean.Huge campsite lot of green spaces to play with friends and kids.Dark nights give you the best star gazing experiences.Has a Volleyball court.10 mins drive to the pyramid lake.Good network coverage.Cons:Too windy and can see hillside burnt trees adjacent to the Group site CNo shower.Ran out of toilet paper.Out of four restrooms one is locked and another one without light. Other two can be sanitized better.Lots of rodent holes and scared us a bit. - Suresh Raj Govindaraj
