Lickdale Campground Reviews
I have only ever visited for the food but I have to admit (oddly enough) - some of the best wings in the area! Tons of flavors, perfectly cooked. Staff is short though so don’t expect lightening fast service. I’ll absolutely continue to give them my business.
Aug 30, 2022 · John EliasFirst let me start off by telling you that I haven't actually camped here yet. This is strictly just my review of the KOA lickdale camp store ice cream shop.I often stop while driving up through because my kids love the dirt sundaes that they sell. But this place really does have a lot of great things to choose from. Seriously. They even have a sundae for dogs! (Consisting of vanilla ice cream, peanut butter, and a doggy bisquit) They have hard dipped ice cream I believe all of them are the Turkey Hill brand ice creams. And they also have chocolate, vanilla, and twist soft serve. All the normal toppings you can think of, and they even have the saw dust topping. So if your ever going through and need a quick sweet treat, you should stop and check them out. Every person I ever spoke to behind the counter was always very pleasant aand extremely helpful!

Then as im leaving, they said Merry xmas!!!Ah..oh... Ah yea?? Really??Im never going there ever again. They arent getting my money anymore.I would not recommend this place, especially since Hershey got their filthy hands in it. Beware.
Dec 25, 2022 · Frederick MeaseWe have gone to Lickdale Campground for hand dipped ice cream in the past, so we stopped recently in early May 2021. We could not believe how badly we were ripped off. The ice cream in a LARGE cone barely poked it's little self above the top of the cone. But don't worry, they still charge enough to buy a half gallon of ice cream . So,we found several other places now. We won't go back.
May 09, 2021 · TellinglikeitisYou have to camp here to go tubing. If you do go tubing take extra tubes in case its low we went in above the 81 bridge which was an adventure 9 hours an still 8 miles from the campsite but flat tube an lots of low spots made our experience quite the adventure so tale plenty to eat an drink of planning to go from there an make sure you have a cover on tube to avoid leaks lol
