While Jim Thorpe Camp Resort's public reviews do not explicitly detail specific, time-limited promotions, their official website indicates a range of amenities and activities that contribute to overall value. As a family-owned and operated business, their approach to "special offers" often comes in the form of consistent, competitive rates for a well-maintained and amenity-rich camping experience, rather than fleeting discounts. However, campgrounds often have unadvertised special considerations or seasonal packages.
It is always recommended for interested parties to check their official website or contact them directly for the most current information regarding rates, any potential package deals, or events that might add extra value to a stay. They sometimes offer:
- Seasonal Camping Rates: Given they offer seasonal spots, there are specific rates for long-term stays throughout their operating season (April 1 to October 31). Inquiring about these can be a great way to secure a recurring getaway.
- Holiday Weekend Activities: While not a discount, they often have special activities and events planned for major holiday weekends like Memorial Day, which can enhance the camping experience without an extra charge.
- Group Rates: For larger groups, it's always worth inquiring if specific group rates or discounts are available for booking multiple sites.

Jim Thorpe Camp Resort Reviews
People… this is a CAMP GROUND. Bugs, dirt, nature. It’s rustic. What on earth is everyone looking for? Disney in the woods? The campground was easy to navigate. The paths were well defined and as level as they could be. The staff were friendly, great internet speed, and it was nice and quiet (as nature should be)The only criticism is that the sites are small.
Jun 19, 2025 · Kim Has CatsThis is a campground. Our electric and water campsites were nice. Restrooms were clean and in good repair. Plenty of hot water although we were there during the week. Nice playgrounds for little kids and older ones. I would definitely go back there if in the area.
May 09, 2025 · Susan DukeHad a great time. Bill the owner was very friendly and helpful. We rented a cabin and it was very clean and nice. The only thing negative about the cabins is that there were no bathroom in cabin so be prepared to walk a little. Also took forever for the A/C TO GET COLD. Other than that we had a good time.
May 17, 2025 · Joe KaneStayed at the campground during Octoberfest 2024. It was perfect! The trail was on the edge of the campground, easily accessible and a nice bike ride into town - very easy on ebikes. The trail went for miles the opposite way too and was a great ride with nice scenery. The campground had lots of activities for families and a nice cookout. The campground employees were very friendly and helpful
Dec 11, 2024 · J RWe stayed here 4 nights and did not have any issues. It was very peaceful and the other campers were very polite and friendly. Our camper is on the smaller side so tight sites didn't matter. The staff was very accommodating and kind. The owner stopped and spoke to us many times throughout our stay and was very pleasant. He seemed very hardworking and caring about the property. It would benefit him greatly to be able to hire someone (or more than one person) to help him with maintenance. I didn't go in any of the bathrooms but the camp office/store did need a bit of updating. They seemed to stock everything you might need and even some stuff you might just want. ;) The playground was nicely kept and updated. The only trash overflowing I saw was at the dumpster as it was time for the truck to come empty it. The pool was very refreshing but could use more lounge chairs and maybe some umbrellas. This is a smaller, older campground with lots of trees. If you have a larger rig you might not be too happy here. We would return because we were treated kindly and you can't beat the location.
