Huttopia Wine Country Reviews
We visited in May of 2025 and the high was around 80 degrees. This seemed to be the optimal time to visit as it was warm enough to swim, but not hot enough to be miserable while traipsing around the grounds (our tent was a bit of a hike from the main lodge area). It was also nice that everything was still green and there were a good amount of wildflowers! The tent was well stocked and was warm enough through the night (the evenings really cool down). It was kind of hard to find information on their website about what would be in the tent so just know it's basic kitchen items like plates, cups, a sponge, dish soap, and a jug for water, etc. Wine glasses of course :) They also provide a gas grill with a burner. Things I forgot were hand sanitizer (since our tent didn't have water), salt and pepper, and bug spray, though the bugs were not bad!And the ambiance of the tent was just delightful. It was nice sitting out on the deck at night enjoying the twinkle lights. We will definitely go back!
May 13, 2025 · Kendra ByrdBeautiful ranch with breathtaking views. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed. We especially enjoyed heat lamp in the bathroom, which was a godsend on chilly mornings. The beds were also very cozy. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, eating delicious fire-roasted pizza, and drinking the best Tempranillo we’ve ever tasted!
May 04, 2025 · Kristine McDermandSpent an evening in early September while on a road trip. Was a bit hot on arrival (90F+) but the evening cooled down nicely. The fan and ceiling fan (once we found the remote), cooled the tent off quickly once the sun set. There was only one other family at the facility, so it was incredibly quite (except for crickets and birds) and the star gazing from the tent porch was phenomenal (including the Milky Way). The tent wooden structures are rustic but very serviceable. They are solar powered and have a solar water heater - all of which worked as promised. Service at the lodge was good as were the food and drink. We did not really use the amenities there (pool, games, etc) as we arrived in the late afternoon and just stayed one night. We happened to stay in an ADA compliant tent and while there are no stairs to climb to access it, the gravel pathways to access it were a bit steep and would definitely present a challenge to someone in a wheelchair (or the person pushing them). It is a bit of a steep hike from the parking areas to the tents, or even from the parking area to check in, so be prepared for that. All doable especially as many are here to hike and/or bike the vineyard property but presented a little bit of challenge for us as my wife has just two months into a total knee replacement. Looking forward to coming back, probably for a couple night stay next time to take better advantage of location.
Sep 12, 2024 · Rod DThis was my third visit to Huttopia (I’ve been to the Sutton Maine and White Mountains locations). It is such a joy and does not disappoint! It is as beautiful and fun as the pictures look.
Jun 21, 2025 · Andy NguyenArrived in the dark. It was very hard to find your tent in the dark...the tent numbers are tiny, not lit up and not by the walkway/road. Therefore, I had to walk into each tent to find mine. More lights are needed on walkways. Tents are nicely spaced apart so you get less noise from neighbors. Trails from parking lot are all uphill. All the luggage carts need a cover or canopy for when it rains- or offer a stand with trash bags to cover gear. Great stay otherwise. Helpful staff. Have small menu items for lunch and breakfast available. 2 wineries very close.
