Horseshoe Bend Campground Reviews
We were only there for one night and stayed in site 138 , it’s the lesser of the good facilities available at the campground but it was all we needed. Grounds could use a good cleanup mowing and limb removal , pit toilet was very clean , Lake was up high due to the spring rains!Rec.gov continues to be an issue . We were there on a Thursday and also needed to stay Friday night , no one in this section of the campground when we left later in the day on Friday but they would not allow one night due to their 2 night minimum for weekends , totally ridiculous when the place is empty .. called to talk with them and that took 45 min , this is not how you should spend your vacation time . I would give our experience a 3.5 star if the ratings allowed such.
May 23, 2025 · Chris DavisFantastic campground. Brought the 30’ bumper pull and we’re right by the water. We have electricity but no water or dump at the site. The water fill was about 1/4 mile from us so it was super easy.
Jun 01, 2025 · Curtis ShayWe had a section that was very flooded and muddy from the spring rain. The area could use a good clean. The bathrooms also could use a good clean. The people next to us set up camp and left two dogs alone that just barked most of the night.
Jun 14, 2025 · Angelica GuerreroThis campground needs cleaning up. The one flush toilet didn’t work and had flooded the bathroom. The showers were filthy and not usable. No hiking close by-only lake activities available. We left 4 days early after only staying one night.
Jun 08, 2025 · Emily HeimerThis place is beautiful. The water was up and part of the park was closed. Our favorite part was sitting and listening to the water. We will be back.
