Horseshoe Bend Campground Reviews
Probably the nicest campground along Hwy138E and the Umpqua river. Has decent bathrooms and all sites are decent size. Rustic enough but amenities of a bathroom and water are nice. It's away from the highway so quieter than other campgrounds along the river. The only thing that would make it better is it being left open longer in the season.
May 16, 2025 · Troy RussellRight on the river, well maintained, flush toilets, potable water, firepits, put-in/take-out and boat ramp. No electricity. Large sites, wooded/shaded. Grey water discharge near every site.

Sep 12, 2024 · Simply Summerm (SimplySummer)Great place to fly fish and camp! Spaces are shaded and a good distance away from eachother. Bathrooms are close by even a pregnant lady could get there easily. The campsite owners are super sweet too and helped us with all the questions we had. Great place to raft from what we saw as well.
May 27, 2019 · KiwiBeen there twice, it was spared by the Archie creek fire, thank God I don't understand the bad reviews this place has around 30 campsites, half are reserved and the best ones are first come first served, the bathroom is easily accessible from anywhere in the campsite it has electrical outlets. The sites along the river are incredible. Someone carved a bench out of a fallen tree with a bear head.
