Crooked Creek Campground Reviews
I've always loved this campground but won't be able to go there any longer. I'm irritated at their 2 pet policy, which has been in effect for the last few years but was never enforced until this year. I have 3 dogs, 2 very small dogs and one large breed (bloodhound). We have been camping there for the last 5 years and have had 3 dogs for 4 of the 5 yrs. We typically go there several times during the camping season. We've always been able to take all 3 dogs until this year. There has never been any complaints against our dogs but because things have gotten out of hand the last couple of years, they are now enforcing it. I personally feel that if you've been going with the same 3 dogs and haven't had any concerns/complaints than you should still be able to.
Jun 13, 2025 · Melinda O'ConnersI'm a traveling nurse and came here to look for property and maybe settle down. They were very gracious and allowed me to park my converted school bus here People here are very friendly and family oriented. I had a sweet family for temporary neighbors and it gave me an excuse to use the oven for the first time!
Jun 17, 2025 · kathleen mckayThe campground is in a beautiful location. The problem I had was with the rudeness of the woman checking us in. She shouldn’t have a customer service position at all. There also wasn’t adequate water pressure and taking showers or even using the bathroom wasn’t happening. You barely got any water and at one point the bathroom was locked because you couldn’t flush the toilet’s and they were quite nasty. So what they did instead of fixing the problem is just lock the doors. For me I had a camper but there was lots of people in tents that had nowhere to go. I’ve been camping for decades and have never encountered such poor service. I won’t recommend them nor go there again
