Colorado Heights Camping Resort Reviews
Absolutely fantastic spot we want to tell everyone about but also keep a secret! We booked the same day and went the Sat/Sun of fiesta week and there were so many activities. Bonfires, potluck, pinatas (kid and adult), karaoke, bingo, pancakes. The hosts are great and everyone is so friendly! We were in spot N42, which ended up being perfectly located next to the amphitheater where the events took place. The pool was nice and clean, and the playground was fun. We also walked all around the property and explored the clubroom. Quiet time is strictly enforced at 10, and everyone respects. We quickly made acquaintances with a couple of families but one of the most memorable moments was when our neighbors told everyone at karaoke that it was my husband's birthday and had all of us go over there so we could sing him happy birthday! We then went back to our site and shared cake. Our other neighbor also hand makes kids toys which he gifted to our 1 year old and we also bought a puzzle from him! I am probably missing something, but it was a totally unexpectedly great experience! 10/10 we will be back!
Jul 01, 2025 · Victoria VJim and Kari weren’t just staff—they were incredible neighbors and truly made my stay at Colorado Heights RV Resort unforgettable. From day one, they welcomed me with kindness and made me feel at home. Whether it was helping out, sharing a laugh, or just being great company, they went above and beyond. The resort itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and the entire staff reflects the same friendly, welcoming spirit. What was meant to be a one-week stay turned into six amazing months, and that’s largely thanks to the people—especially Jim and Kari.
Jul 05, 2025 · Rome RomeroI originally planned to stay for just a week, but I ended up calling this place home for nearly six months. The community here is truly special. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I had the privilege of living next to Jim and Kari—amazing neighbors who made my stay even more memorable. Later, I met Bill and Sue, and quickly became friends with them as well, along with many others in the campground. The friendships and memories I made here will stay with me forever. This place is something special.
Jun 28, 2025 · Romeo RomeroThe staff and location were great. Our kids loves the pond and exploring. The only criticism I have are the tight RV spots. We had to get creative with the parking of our RV and truck. The hook ups were also a little bizarre, water on one side and sewerOn the opposite.
Jun 29, 2025 · Annamarie HedmanThis park is beautiful and so much fun! There was so much to do and the staff even puts on events. The staff really cares, Ashley even made it her goal to make sure I had a good time! We played games, used the hot tub, and even sang karaoke all night!
