Camp Site Clarkston Reviews
Dry. Dirty. No grass. Spiders EVERYWHERE! Wasp nests on all docks and picnic tables. My Granddaughter was stung 5 times last night. Waking up to being totally covered in cobwebs. Nothing is being maintained. Will NEVER go back!!
Aug 07, 2023 · Shelly PenlandIt was actually very quiet and peaceful for the most part but the pictures showed green grass and it was mostly dirt! The bathrooms were nice and clean! And the only other thing I will say is it would be nice if they cleaned out the dead bushes and trees that are at the waters edge. It would be much nicer with a view of the water. The staff was amazing super nice people!
Jun 20, 2024 · Jeremy CooperThis campsite was okay. There are spiders, snakes, and skunks that roam the island though and all came onto our campsites. However, we only saw 1 snake, and 7 different skunks throughout our stay. We saw a ton of big spiders although and with 3 of us staying in hammocks, it was not ideal. Every night there were constant webs all over our stuff. The showers and bathrooms were extremely nice, as well as the plug-ins, water hookups and beach area. The campsite being on a island is pretty cool.
