The park rangers at Aspenglen Campground were incredibly kind and warm-hearted. It’s clear they care deeply about both the visitors and the park itself.Flush toilets and potable water were limited during the winter, but you could still fill up your RV water tank at the visitor center during its opening hours, which was a big help.
May 20, 2025 · Yeom MyeonghwanLovely campground next to Fall River. Quiet and spacious but also close to Estes Park. Bathrooms were very clean with flush toilets. Saw some elk and deer.
Jun 16, 2025 · Joy JiaoMarch 2025 visit : Camped overnight during the winter season, so no hookups were available. The sites are first come, first serve. There were 2-3 sites occupied when we got there around 11 am or so. Left some items at our site, got back around 5 pm from hiking and almost every site was booked. The ground was pretty level. Unable to do a review on the bathroom facilities as we have a bathroom in our camper van.We also heard turkey close to sunset! Sadly we didn’t see any.We stayed in 5 different campgrounds during our Colorado trip, even with no hookup, this was by far our favorite campground during our trip! We can’t wait to go back to Rocky Mtn NP during summer or fall season to check out the other campgrounds.
Apr 04, 2025 · Bethany McKerlieCampground was good. Our campsite was in level and easy to park. Moose was walking nearby.
Jun 29, 2025 · Bridal KaleidoscopeBeautiful campsites, wonderful location, easy to get to from Denver/Boulder and Estes Park is a short drive away.Stayed a couple nights for NYE 2024. Very few people. Fox came by to tuck us in and coyote sang us to sleep. Few amenities in winter, as expected; porta potties seemed colder than the 1°F that it was 😁 Great sky views, great sunrise on mountain view to start the new year.
