Alpine Lodge At Red Feather Lakes Reviews
We’ve had our camper parked here at the campground for about three weeks so far, but we already know we made the right choice for our summer! Our camper will be here all season, and we’re so excited to spend the summer in such a well-maintained and thoughtfully laid-out campground.Even in a short time, we’ve been really impressed with how clean, organized, and welcoming everything is. You can tell a lot of care goes into keeping the grounds in great shape. The tiny homes are adorable, and there's a cute playground for the kiddos that our daughter loves. We've mainly boondocked and dispersed camp, so staying so close to others has been a change for us. With that said, each lot is laid out nicely to maximize the space and the lot we're on is large and overlooks the mountains nicely. The new owners are so friendly and really want to make your stay great! They have already started making some fantastic upgrades, and it’s clear they’re committed to improving the campground even more. It’s refreshing to see their enthusiasm and investment in making this place even better for campers. We’re looking forward to the rest of the summer and all the great things still to come!
Jun 03, 2025 · Cat LeeSuch a beautiful weekend I spent up at the Bear cabin with my family for Memorial Day weekend. It was recently remodeled and super clean when we arrived. Joe & his wife (the owners) welcomed us with arms wide open & great hospitality. We look forward to coming back and staying at one of their tiny homes!
May 27, 2025 · B CHad an amazing time at Alpine Lodge! The owners were all very sweet and accommodating of our needs. We're a large family and needed space for everyone, the Wolf Den was very clean and had the amenities we needed, it was perfect for all of us. The location was beautiful and just down the road from perfect places for hiking, fishing, paddle boarding, swimming, sightseeing, and horseback riding! We will certainly be returning to Alpine Lodge, and we'll gladly use it as our getting away destination!Thank you to the owners!
Aug 26, 2024 · Laylonni JaramilloDecided to stay here for a few days after camping at Dowdy Lake for a week. We needed a place to dump, and they do have full hook-ups, so that was helpful. Otherwise, the vibe here is slightly off and I probably wouldn’t stay here again. Yes, they clearly state that they have no restrooms and only two outhouses on their website, but what they do not say is how absolutely disgusting they are. No toilet paper, stained seats… just gross. No excuse for that. We also paid $25 per dog (we have 2) for our stay, which for a campground is asking a little much. I didn’t mind, until one of the dogs that I assume was part of the owner’s extended family wandered into our site, off leash, even though their website says dogs must be on a leash at all times. My dog, who was leashed, has anxiety, and was agitated by this dog (who seemed harmless, but still… follow your own rules!)… finally, saw someone drive by, roll down their window, and flip off the place… I’m sure the tiny homes are charming… so maybe try those… but this place could’ve been so cool… but failed.
Aug 04, 2024 · Alexandria EasterThe Alpine Lodge at Red Feather Lakes was amazing. My Family and I had a wonderful time. The kids had a place to play at the playground. We enjoyed Dowdy lake, horse back riding, a beautiful hike, Gnome Road and ice cream all just minutes away from the camp site. I loved how clean the park, and our cabins were. They truly took the time to pay attention to small details like reading material in our cabin, linen that smelled fresh and clean. The little things that matter.I Can’t wait to come again, making it a yearly visit with our family. Special memories were created, and we are most definitely happy campers. Thank you for making our stay memorable.
