I moved to Wolhurst in November and first want to thank and send a giant hug to Carla, our office manager here! She was of course the first person needed to speak with after my offer was accepted by the past owner. Carla welcomed me through the process with such warmth and grace, golden characteristics of someone who was not only a manager, but a PRICELESS one to be of great service to those she looks over here. She made sure all was done so well from the get-go as I do have a dog and needed to do a kennel type area for her, besides the regular application and all, she has since November always been there for me with all my little panic attacks being in a wheelchair and quite disabled and I consider her one of the best I have ever encountered in 65 years! SECOND, SO IMPORTANT, ALL OF MY WONDERFUL and PRICELESS NEIGHBORS REACHED out RIGHT AWAY even though I couldn't even go outside and sent message after message of welcome and warmth to me! Even prior to choosing a property, people were stopping the folks that drove me here to ask if we needed directions and welcoming us to Wolhurst whether we lived here or were visiting! IMMEDIATE WARMTH and WOW! I lived in a subdivision in Parker taking care of my father for 11 years and have never seen such a display of warmth as I have here that continues on daily now, too! If you are looking for a place to spend your golden years in an area that you can feel as safe as possible in the times we are in and want to experience an office manager like Carla that TRULY CARES ABOUT YOUR NEEDS along with the BEST NEIGHBORS anyone can dream of, (a special thanks to Bill and he knows why,)YOU REALLY NEED TO LOOK HERE! Many nice amenities: exe cise room,sing-alongs, group dinners and cookouts, bridge, pinochle, poker, pool, ping pong, pickle ball, outdoor pool, walking pathway around & fishing in man-made Wolhurst Lake, plenty of wildlife, friendly neighbors. Small pets (2 per home) allowed.

YES some residence need RESPECT for others like get rid of loud big dogs, loud trucks-some need to Paint home, Clean off piles junk on porches/side yards/remove overgrown bushes. Size of dogs, adult children & grandchildren living here needs to cease. MH Sales, should be handled more fairly with Realtors. Overall, great place to live in Denver, even with the constant rent increases. Management is friendly and always on duty.
