Wilderness Adventure RV Park Reviews
This has almost everything you need except for a kitchenette stuffed in a cute little cabin. Unfortunately, there isn't very much room to store any luggage or gear. There is a nice big TV but no local service or Internet so if you want background TV noise bring lots of DVDs. There are a few DVDs there. Also some written (or typed) general instructions for the heater, lighting, etc. I finally figured out everything when it was about time to go.Unfortunately it rained every day I was there so I was stuck in the cabin most of the time so the "little things" really add up. If you could enjoy all the surrounding activities and just used it as a "home base" it would be great. There's not any places to eat unless you want to drive into Tahlequah. Not having a kitchen or TV was a definite drawbackThe caretaker Tom was very helpful and everyone I talked to were very pleasant.
May 09, 2025 · Doug StokesQuiet, very isolated, the hosts are terrific people. On site staff is friendly and very helpful. Prices are great for rv spaces or cabins. Shower house, grills, as well as outside dining tables.
Oct 18, 2023 · C WildesIt is definitely off the beaten path, with no signs directing you what roads to take, you have to rely on GPS and be prepared to drive on rough dirt roads, the park itself is not big rig friendly, has small cabins to rent and FHU for 35ft rv camper but not any bigger than that, it's close to Illinois River though.
Jun 19, 2025 · Paul CatePlace is pretty decent, but my Lord FIX YOUR EFFING ROADS!!!! I have a new remodel, four-wheel-drive, pick up truck and even with off-road suspension the roads or some of the worst I’ve driven on literally the type of road that will destroy your suspension
Jul 06, 2024 · William RThis place has a nice owner. It's the lazy River Campground that is posing as the same business using almost the same logo right down the block. Lazy River has stuff and dumpsters in the middle of America's roads. I'm calling Doc and renting his equipment to rearrange some bikes if that's what it takes to help America and her Rivers and roads. I'll take a hot meal I've never done anything but Serve this Country and pay lots of taxes for some small group to start trashing it in my back yard.
