Waterville RV Park Introduce
For RV travelers exploring the scenic beauty and expansive landscapes of North Central Washington, the Waterville RV Park provides a functional, well-located, and essential stopping point. This park, nestled in the small, friendly town of Waterville—the "Powerhouse of the Plateau"—is designed for convenience, especially for those attending events or working in the surrounding area. It offers a no-frills, practical, and highly accessible base from which to explore Douglas County and beyond.
Managed with efficiency and offering reasonable pricing, the Waterville RV Park is known for its level ground and proximity to key community resources. As one local RV enthusiast noted, the area is notably flat, which makes setting up camp quick and easy. While it may not offer the lush amenities of a resort, it delivers where it counts: essential services and a fantastic location for extended stays, particularly during the active summer months. The park’s layout and management make it a reliable choice for campers seeking a straightforward and well-maintained facility.
The surrounding region, defined by the rolling hills of the Columbia Plateau, offers a quiet, relaxing atmosphere away from the bustling city life of the Puget Sound region. This area provides access to regional trail opportunities for hikers and bikers, and for those traveling with horses, the fairgrounds proximity is a significant benefit. Ultimately, the Waterville RV Park is a practical solution for a clean, secure, and affordable place to park your recreational vehicle in Central Washington.
The Waterville RV Park is strategically located at 418 E 3rd St, Waterville, WA 98858, USA. This address places it directly in the heart of Waterville, the Douglas County seat, offering campers easy access to the town’s small selection of groceries and restaurants.
The most significant locational feature is its direct position across the street from the Douglas County Fairgrounds. This makes the RV park the prime accommodation choice for visitors attending the annual NCW Fair, rodeo events, or other seasonal activities hosted at the fairgrounds. Campers can simply walk over to enjoy the action, making logistics simple and stress-free. For those involved in the local agricultural community or working on temporary projects, this proximity and the option for an extended stay are invaluable.
In terms of accessibility, the park includes a wheelchair accessible parking lot, which demonstrates a consideration for all guests. The sites themselves are level, largely gravel, and well-suited for RVs of various sizes. As a central Washington location, it’s a quiet place to call home base while exploring the greater North Central Washington area, with major hubs and outdoor recreation areas only a short drive away.
The Waterville RV Park focuses on providing core, essential services that are highly valued by RV travelers, whether they are stopping for a night or staying for a month. The services are straightforward and designed for utility.

The RV park is part of the Douglas County Fairgrounds complex, which generally offers full-service hookups (water, electric, and sewer) from Memorial Day Weekend through October 1st, although travelers should confirm specific site availability upon booking.

- They have a RV dump station, which is what I used. I have not camped here but I did note that the area looked level and was in very close proximity to the fairgrounds which would be awesome if you're doing rodeo or something along those lines. All sites appeared to have power and water as well. August 08 · Nate L
