For North Carolina locals exploring mobile home or RV living options, Village Squire Mobile Estates & RV Park in Knightdale presents itself as a conveniently located choice within the dynamic Raleigh metropolitan area. While recent customer reviews point to significant issues regarding communication, pet policies, and initial site readiness, it's crucial for prospective residents to understand the potential benefits this park offers, especially for long-term stays, and to engage in thorough due diligence.
The primary advantage for North Carolina residents is the park's strategic location. Its proximity to I-540 and a myriad of essential stores and restaurants within a mile is a considerable convenience. This means less time commuting for groceries, errands, or a quick meal, and more time enjoying home. For those working in Raleigh or needing access to its broader amenities, the short drive makes this park a practical base.
Furthermore, the availability of both mobile home and RV lots, along with rental homes, caters to diverse housing needs within our community. The inclusion of services like water, sewer, garbage, and lawn care (for RV lots) in the lot rent simplifies budgeting and maintenance, which is appealing for many. The noted "excellent cellular reception" and availability of broadband internet and cable TV are also critical features for modern residents who rely on connectivity for work, education, or leisure.
However, it is impossible to overlook the very serious concerns raised in customer reviews. The issues of a "rude" response regarding pet policy (specifically concerning pit bulls, despite a general "pet-friendly" stance), and a lack of power upon arrival at an RV site, coupled with difficulty reaching management, are significant red flags. These experiences highlight the absolute necessity for North Carolina locals to confirm all details, particularly regarding specific pet breed policies, site readiness, and access to management, *before* making any commitments. Direct, persistent communication and perhaps even an in-person visit to inspect the specific site are highly recommended to mitigate these potential frustrations.
Despite these challenges, the positive mention of "very friendly" neighbors suggests a potential for community, which can be a vital aspect of mobile home park living. If the management issues can be addressed or navigated successfully, Village Squire Mobile Estates & RV Park could still offer an accessible and convenient long-term living solution for North Carolina residents seeking a mobile home or RV spot in the growing Knightdale area. It's a location with strong potential, but one that requires careful verification and direct engagement to ensure a positive experience.

Jul 29, 2021 · Alexsandr De CourvalAfter a long journey from new mexico, my husband and I arrived today only to be disappointed and angered by this place. We somehow squeezed into the tight spot only to realize there is no place to park our vehicles and to also find out no power coming from the pole! I should also mention getting a hold of the owner or his son is damn near impossible. Since there's no power to our rv, we are staying in a hotel for the night..or two. One good thing about this place is the neighbors are very friendly..we may move depending on if this issue gets resolved.
Aug 23, 2017 · Kimberly YoutzyWould have liked to stay here, but apparently no one works there because I can’t get a phone call back or seems like nobody is around to answer the phone. I must have left three or four messages and called numerous times.
Jan 28, 2020 · Eddie MacLost cause guys. I’ve called, left voicemails and emailed multiple times. I even drove out here to inquire about renting. The office says open but it’s dark and no one is answering the door. I’m moving on to another place.
Aug 04, 2020 · Brittany CI been trying to call this place for the last 3 days but it's impossible to get it touch with someone, I left 3 voicemail and as of right now no one has call me back.
