Valley of the Sun RV park Reviews
The park is fairly well lit, and the neighborhood is relatively quiet (we don't mind the train). Bathrooms/showers, though outdated, are temperature controlled and have been mostly clean. About half the laundry machines are functional (at $4 load), and the ice machine is a nice perk.RV spaces aren't really level, and the roads are a mess, but maintenance at least seems to be present on site daily. We love the staff in the office after 3 pm, but the dayshift desk lady has never been very personable to put it kindly, so we avoid the office altogether for help at all with anything in the morning hours. We considered that all utilities were included here in the monthly rate when searching for a new long-term space in our budget but were a little upset to discover their "month" every month is only 28 days. Also, the park failed to mention at check-in that they had shut off ALL provided 110 outlets for RV guests. In what is sometimes a 120+ degree Arizona summer, and especially in a park with NO shade we really count on our extra a/c to give our roof unit a break and for the high price of living here being unable to use it has been pretty miserable. The pool keeps us from dying, but recently, the chemicals have been so strong that we have all noticed new and significant hair loss. If it wasn't for trying to survive this heat, we wouldn't even be getting in it anymore. Something definitely needs adjusted there! We also considered into the cost that there was supposed to be included wifi, yet the provided internet has been unable to connect at all for us, so we were forced to buy our own service anyway. They don't care if you have kids or are 55+ here, which is rare for the area so they can get away with charging struggling families well over 1K a "month" for a parking spot.
Jul 10, 2024 · Dana ApolinarBathrooms are not the greatest, a bit pricey for what you get, there also the loud train, the area you park your rv at is corroded gravel, I seen worst parks, it an ehh park,
Nov 19, 2023 · Cozy GarciaMismanaged, slum of a park. Don’t stop, keep driving this is not the place to stay.We stopped because of our visit with friends in nearby Sun City. We registered at front lobby of the hotel. The RV parking area is behind the Hotel. As we drove to our site we saw a lot of pot holes and that the property isn’t maintained. The washing machines worked but the dryers were broken, and of course we didn’t find this out until we went to use them, how hard would it be to hang “out of order” signs. One after the other didn’t work. Finally one of the locals informed us that only one of the dryers worked and there was a line to use it. Meanwhile the other dryers were spinning wet clothes of other unsuspecting guest. I had to hang dry our clothes in our motor home making this a very uncomfortable stay. The free WIFI did not work.
Jan 02, 2024 · Richard SettleCouldn't even get checked in as they didn't warn us previously that each adult in your party HAS to have their ID put on file, as well as they want a copy of registration for all vehicles and your trailer. When I called, I had been informed that I only needed my trailer registration. Old lady working the desk was very rude and acted as though she had never spoke with me before. Parking lot and driving areas are very run down with pot holes that could swallow a smart car.
Feb 22, 2024 · Candice BullisLooks like a conveniently located place behind the Days hotel. Can stay up to 28Days with an opportunity to renew if available. Off of grand be near Highway, it isn’t amenity rich but for those needing to help aging parents it’s ideal bcz it’s all ages.
