This strategic position offers the best of both worlds: a peaceful, secluded setting within the base, combined with easy access to the broader Cape Cod region and its many attractions.
The RV park's location on Ent Street provides a quiet and secure environment. Whether you're planning a trip to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket via ferry, exploring the Cape Cod Canal bike path, or visiting local museums, the park's location serves as an ideal basecamp for all your Massachusetts adventures. The balance of seclusion and connectivity makes this RV park a superb choice for a relaxing yet accessible vacation.

Small and Quiet Atmosphere: With only five RV sites, the park is described by many as small, quiet, and peaceful. This provides a serene escape for those seeking tranquility away from crowded campgrounds. Reviewers consistently praise its peaceful and secluded nature, emphasizing "very little traffic" and a relaxing ambiance.
Spacious, Long Pull-Through Sites: The RV sites are notably long pull-throughs, offering ample space for even large rigs. They are generally level, which simplifies the setup process for campers.
Full Hookup Convenience: The provision of water, electric (20, 30, and 50 amp), and sewer at each site is a major convenience, allowing RVers to enjoy fully self-contained camping without interruption.
Nature and Tranquility: Guests appreciate the beautiful natural surroundings. One reviewer noted "beautiful nature surrounding every side," highlighting the appeal for those who enjoy a natural, peaceful setting.
Proximity to Cape Cod Attractions: While quiet and secluded, the park serves as an excellent base for exploring the diverse attractions of Cape Cod, including beaches, historical sites, charming towns, and outdoor activities like hiking and biking.
Access to Base Cape Cod Facilities: Beyond the RV park itself, guests can utilize various facilities on Joint Base Cape Cod, such as a well-stocked commissary and exchange, a bowling alley (C-Side Lanes), a movie theater (C-Side Private Movie Theater), and a C-Side outdoor pool. This provides a range of entertainment and practical services just a short drive away.
Military-Exclusive Access: This park is exclusively available to authorized users, including Active Duty, National Guard, Reservists, Retired Military, 0-100% DAV, Purple Heart Recipients, Former POW, Veteran Caregivers, and DoD Civilians. This limited access contributes to the quiet and secure environment.
Affordable Rates: At $35 per night during the peak season (May 1 – October 31), the RV park offers excellent value for a full hookup site on Cape Cod, especially when considering the exclusivity and access to base amenities.
The USCG Cape Cod MWR RV Park maintains a consistent daily rate for its RV sites during its operational season (mid-May to mid-October), which is publicly listed at $35 per night. During the off-season (November 1 – April 30), it transitions to dry camping only.
While there aren't typically "promotions" in the traditional sense like discounted rates for limited periods, the inherent value of the park itself, particularly for eligible patrons, could be considered a continuous special offer. The affordable rate of $35 per night for a full hookup site on Cape Cod, combined with access to base amenities and a quiet, secure environment, represents a significant saving compared to commercial RV parks in the area.

USCG Cape Cod MWR RV Park Reviews
Small, quiet, no frills sites.5 sites, very long pull thru sites with water, electric and sewer. These are pretty level. The sewer connections are 6 inches high making it difficult to dump. Some of the water valves are so short, the hose is difficult to attach, especially if you use a pressure regulator. The dumpster is pretty far away, which can be a good thing. Grass is kind of long, not sure how often they mow, but it’s so quiet and peaceful. Very little traffic. The staff is friendly.I would definitely stay again.
Jul 16, 2024 · Inspired2RVJohn, “ just an open field ... laughable”? Really? Depends on what you’re looking for. Some of us prefer exactly what this place offers. Not everyone needs 24/7 entertainment. If you’re looking for 50amp FH, extremely spacious sites, beautiful nature surrounding every side, peace and tranquility, very well stocked commissary and exchange, swimming, bowling alley, movie theater and perfect distance to Cape Cod fun ... I highly recommend this place. And all for $25/night. However, if you need a campground to provide more entertainment than the above and wall-to-wall campers ... then maybe this place isn’t for you.
Aug 18, 2018 · KellyIt is an open field which we loved!! However, it was nicely mowed and there were picnic tables available. We were there to see Cape Cod and it's right there close to everything. Laundry is free at the lodging office and they provide a key for your convenience, fantastic! They also provide a binder with all the information about the local area. It was very helpful. They only have five sites but are planning on 10 more in the next year and they have room for it. I don't care about amenities I was there to see Cape Cod and the famcamp is nice and quiet. We will sooo go there again. I've stayed at other nicer famcamps but I've never given them more than a 3 or 4 star rating. For $25 a night I will stay here again and again! LOVED Cape Cod!!!!
Nov 08, 2018 · jill caddellHonestly, it wouldn’t be that bad if it weren’t for the complete lack of bathrooms and showers. And you can’t have fires. I get that this is what some people like, but an overgrown, open field with an electric hookup really isn’t a camp ground.
May 27, 2023 · Beth FrazziniVery nice quiet. Wide open sites. Only 5 sites but great.
