Under The Stars RV Park is conveniently situated at 1610 Co Rd 253, Weimar, TX 78962, USA. This address places it within the peaceful, country setting of Weimar, a small town in Central Texas. From a Texan perspective, its location offers an ideal balance: it's private enough to provide a sense of escape, yet sufficiently accessible for travelers on major routes.
Weimar itself is positioned near Interstate 10, a significant East-West corridor connecting major Texas cities like Houston and San Antonio. While the park is on a county road, allowing for a more secluded feel, it remains manageable to reach. One reviewer noted its "private location," indicating it’s set back from heavy traffic, contributing to its quiet atmosphere. Although some sound from passing trains can be heard at night, many find this a preferable and authentic "small time Texas town" experience compared to constant highway noise. This characteristic train sound adds to the local charm rather than detracting from the peaceful environment for many visitors.
The park's location in Weimar also means it's a "short drive" to several local attractions, including the famous Painted Churches of Texas and the popular Whistling Duck Winery. This convenient proximity allows guests to easily explore the unique culture and scenic beauty of the surrounding area without having to travel great distances. Whether you're making a quick overnight stop or planning a longer stay to immerse yourself in local offerings, Under The Stars RV Park offers a well-situated base for your Central Texas adventures.

Under The Stars RV Park Reviews
Mark the owner is amazing and super hospitable. The park itself is nice enough for an overnight stay. There were a lot of fire ant hills which is common for the area but worth mentioning for people with kids / dogs. Private location but can hear the train at night which wasn’t too loud for us. Nice picnic shelter, little dog lot, bathrooms were locked but we didn’t need them. Overall a decent stop
Apr 04, 2025 · Andrea KleinkeThis was the site of our ladies camping weekend and our host Mark was super. The park and facilities were clean and accessible. There is quite a bit of train noise, but I personally preferred this over the consistent noise of highway traffic. It felt right for a small time Texas town. It is a short drive to Whistling Duck Winery and the Painted Churches.
Mar 08, 2023 · Lisa DempseyTerrible place to stay. Even though it's a new rv park it's setup is truly not done well at all. The owner directed us to a spot and it rained after the 2nd day and while I understand rain and actually live camping when it's raining, however we had a puddle that the steps kept sinking into. We had 1,000 plus cigarette butts outside our steps as well and along the sewer side broken glass through yet another muddy pit. I read somewhere that the trails were beautiful and the only trail I saw was maybe the surround property fence line? Didn't see that. They have a huge oak tree with a picnic table and grill but again no trail or pathway to lead to it. Also they make you pay for Wi-Fi as we work and travel it wasn't enough. Also your green space and outdoor area will certainly be on top of your neighbors sewer, water and electric area. All around very poorly set up for any lengthy stays. We had to cook on the road putside of our pad. Reminds me very much of an off the freeway place to stay while traveling. They also had no bathrooms and the laundry mat they show is in town and not on yhe premises. The dog park is a small square with fencing. The rv spots were so small you were falling off the huge rocks along the pad. The name of the place was misleading and reading reviews came for our spring break. Needless to say we moved 3 days in to another park. 10 out of 10 would not recommend.
Mar 18, 2022 · Ashley GollingerAs a young solo female traveler, it can be stressful trying to find a place to stay the night on long drive days. Mark accommodated me last minute when I was only 10 minutes away. He immediately helped me, got me set up, and within an hour I was provided a home cooked meal prepared and hand delivered to my rv. I had told him earlier that I was driving non stop and he kindly offered to share his dinner with me so I could rest. He’s given me a new definition of southern hospitality. The area was safe, secluded, easy to access, and extremely clean. Thanks, Mark!
Sep 24, 2023 · Marra Avery-DraytonSteven is absolutely the best host we have met if I could give a higher rating then 5 stars I would. They have a big beautiful oak tree at the back of the property with tables and a bbq pit for your enjoyment. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back whenever we are passing through. Thank you again for the best experience.
