Tween the Lakes RV Park & Campground Reviews
Hospitality at its finest, with a very convenient location for travelers. They held our spot 2 days after our original booking due to hurricane Ian (we were coming from Florida). Great people with an excellent business model. We will definitely make this an annual stop on our way to/from Colorado. Thank you for being such great hosts! Do not hesitate to book at Tween Lakes RV Park.
Oct 03, 2022 · The Hustle LifeThis place was clean, large pull thru spaces and cement pads. Be sure to have leveling blocks if needed because the pads aren’t level, but the park is clean and well kept. There are NO amenities. This place is basically a parking lot behind a gas station, but it backs up to a city park that has a GREAT walking trail. Just stay on the pavement unless you want to be tick bombed. In spite of the lack of amenities this is a good place to stay. It’s quiet and very close to the amazing Tween the Lakes State Park and convenient to town if needed. The manager is very nice and the owners are frequently on site.
Oct 11, 2019 · Bobbie RobertsonWe found this campground on Passort America while we were on our way to Chattanooga. Not only was it a good value; Danielle (one of the owners) was probably one of the nicest people I've ever encountered at any campground. She got all of our info and told us which site we'd be in. We didn't have to give a credit card to hold the spot and when we got there, our reserve tag was on the site (site 15). She emailed me a site map so we'd know where to go. When she said it was right off the highway and behind the Marathon Station and Motel 6, I started to wonder. But she also said they were in a valley to where you couldn't hear highway noise. We finally got there and it was nice. Literally right off the highway. We took the first right after the Marathon Station and drove down into the campground (which is the only thing down the road). So truly, you could barely see the sign from the Marathon. From my window I can see the motel 6 at the top of the hill (and it looks like a nice one). It's a quaint little campground, only about 30 sites. The owners want to build a bath house and laundry facility. The roads are gravel but the sites are all concrete with a gravel approach pad. There is a dump station as well as firepits and picnic tables at most sites. But, I liked the fact that they are right next to the Livingston Trail system. The gate was closed but my dog and I could get thru/under it. Did I mention it was fall, so the leaves were beautiful. All in all this was a great little place to spend the night. It was quiet and felt very safe to us. If I had things to do in the area, I would definitely stay here for the value. We were in a 43 foot motor home with a tow vehicle and didn't have to unhook.
Oct 30, 2018 · Wendy WebbConcrete pads, gravel drives, full hookups, picnic tables, fire pits. Beware of the road noise for a good night's sleep, but will be blocked out if you have earplugs! Usually quiet neighbors and clean campsites. Walking, biking trails right behind campground. This is close for visits to Patti's Settlement area, Blarkley Lake. Reasonably priced.
Apr 26, 2021 · Joy SeekerGreat find. Full hook up, concrete pads, easy to get to. Can hear some road noise when outside of your unit but not bad considering how close this park is to the interstate. You can still have a normal conversation. A few resident campers but all are maintained well. Really nice bike and walking trail at the bottom of the street. We were here several nights. Will be back as we travel this stretch of hwy often.
