Timber Trails RV Park Reviews
Nice campground. Clean, well run, friendly staff. Located on a nice lake with beach and roped off swimming area. Only negative is that water takes a very long time to get warm in the pay showers, and would like to see the restrooms updated.
Aug 24, 2024 · James MessickVery nice campground off the beaten path with a nice lake to boot! Nice size campground with many seasonal residents. Which is a great deal, by the way! Check it out yourself if interested in a lakeside cottage (RV) of your own. All sites are full hook up with picnic tables and fire rings. There is a laundry room, nice playground and kayaks to rent for a low fee. The lake is called "Lake in the Woods". If you are looking for a nice place with easy in and out and many sites that fit big RV's, check them out!
Oct 02, 2023 · V BennettNice place, kids not running everywhere, seems well kept up, kinda in the middle of nowhere. All the people we talked to in our area were really nice. I see some older post talking about management treating them badly, I have talked to the owner when we signed in and he has only had it a couple years and is doing ongoing work to keep making it nicer, nice guy and you should not hold old management or owners against him, great experience.
Sep 23, 2023 · DAVID RUSTStarted camping here back in the 70's. Got married and had kids and took a chance to see id it was still around. Now we bring our kids here. We pray this camp ground will be around a very long time!
May 21, 2024 · Ruben VelezThe greatest place to be! The campground has a lot to offer; a nice beach, a volleyball net, a basketball court, a playground, shuffleboard, and an open field for dogs. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. I've camped at Timber Trails 3 times, and each stay is a fun and relaxing time. I love how close it is to Decatur since it provides easy access to grocery shopping and restaurants. Spending time at the campground makes me happy, I'll definitely camp there again. :)
