★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We loved our stay at Sun Outdoors in Santa Barbara! We pulled in late Friday night and people were up, not being loud, but just hanging out and having a good time at their sites. It just felt really nice and chill. Our tent site was up against the meadow and the views were insane. The bathroom facilities were clean and the showers were hot and free! I hate paying good money for a campsite and then having to fork over quarters for a shower as well.Kids had fun and so did the adults!10/10 would recommend!
July 28 · Emily at Adventure Sports UnlimitedReally loved our stay here. Pool and hot tub were great, laundry facilities were clean. Loved being able to walk a path down to the ocean and watch surfers and dolphins. Our site was a little tight for our 34’ fifth wheel and truck but made it work just fine. Beautiful spot!
July 17 · CeLynn SiemonsNice little campground across the way from El Capitan State Park and Beach. The state park was closed to cars while we were there which meant the park was almost deserted and we could walk there and pretty much have the place to ourselves. The RV park is about 20 min north of Santa Barbara. Nice and quiet, we had a good two week stay here.
May 25 · Emily PiperCrowded little campground that falls short on offered amenities. The wifi is terrible. This would be acceptable if the price wasn't so high. For weekend nights, rates are around 200/night for full hookups. Our paved site was not level and there was a constant smell of sewer. The showers are not well maintained either. For the price, I can't help but to expect more. For normal pricing it would be fine. Additionally, the main access road to the beach is under construction. You can still hike or bike there but it may be a consideration and should be disclosed. You can access the sister property next door for a free bike rental. It would have been nice if they had mentioned that.
June 26 · Robert KnipperThis campsite was easy to get to with a medium amount of room to maneuver into the spaces. My 34' went right into the drive through site without having to adjust and our travelling companions 42' had just a couple of adjustments to get situated in their drive through site. It's just a few minutes from town if you need fuel, want to see a show, or grab a bite to eat. The campground is on a slope and I have a broken leg but I was still able to get around ok and visit the pool area.
