Sun Outdoors Rehoboth Bay Reviews
We were in our Rv so can not review rooms in cottages.Beautiful Rv Resort.WE loved our site 199, with concrete patio and table, chairs and glider.#1 was the staff!! Starting with Angie the General Manager & Heather the AGM, the ladies at the camp office Stacy,Joann,HeatherA & also the lady at camp store...all were friendly ,helpful& just down to earth people. The bathrooms & laundry room was immaculate, due to the workers who clean them!!It was cooler when we visited but the pool looks amazing with bar& the tiki bar at night to have a drink and watch those gorgeous sunsets was Awesome!! It gets a little hectic when full, due to motorized scooters & bikes & golf carts but you learn how to navigate around quickly. ENJOYED OUR TIME THERE!!!
Jun 05, 2025 · Joan NietzschmannStaff was beyond nice and helpful. Campground is great. It is well maintained and sites are spacious enough. Downfall is the cost. It is not a beach resort as it is on the bay. If you go early spring or for halloween the pools and bars are closed but price is still the same. We have been camping there for four years, and like the place. Only problem is the price of sites as well as the facilities being closed without notice or a price difference.
May 20, 2025 · matt freeseMy experience varied GREATLY early in the week versus the weekend crowd.Pros:* Good location relative to beach and is on inland water itself* Site and bathrooms clean* The few staff I interacted with were polite* Sites were level* Good information packet including a restaurant menuCons:* Not quiet once the long-weekend crowd rolls in. With our windows closed and AC on, the drunks and the very loud multiple radios were audible.* Close to no shade. The few trees were all tiny.* Lacks hot water. Showers have a *single* knob where you get their warmish fluctuating water; no way to adjust temp. Dishwashing sink was really gross and also had no hot water.* "Resort fee" charged every day but there wasn't much to do. One pool closed (in June??) and no weekday activity.* Not much for kids to do. There's one play ground that's sadly overloaded with goose feces that was never removed. The pool that was open was half bar ( no kids allowed) and the rest was really shallow with max depth 4'. There's a tiny unremarkable arcade.* Early in the week other guests were so nice. When weekend crowd rolled in, they're cussing loudly, drunk, cutting through sites. Nextdoor neighbor had an outdoor TV set to max volume watching political nonsense for hours. To the parks credit, they did get the parties to settle down around 10-11pm. It just made relaxing until then difficult -- unless you're there to drink
Jun 08, 2025 · May SnyderWe booked a house right next to family. They moved our houses twice even though we picked certain ones when we booked. They then split us apart so our houses weren’t next to each other after we called the week prior and then confirmed we were. We asked for a refund because that is ridiculous and they said what you bought is available even though it wasn’t the houses we picked so we won’t give you a refund. Absolute worst experience for a vacation. Will never come back that’s for sure.
Jun 08, 2025 · DJ ShuttleworthOur experience with Sun Outdoors Rehoboth Bay was beyond frustrating, from the misleading information to the unprofessional and rude customer service.Deceptive Information: When we booked, no one informed us that the pools, bars, and most attractions were closed for the season.Horrible Customer Service: Instead of addressing the issue professionally, the manager was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to help. It’s shocking that a place that calls itself a resort treats guests this way.Unjustified Cancellation Fee: To make matters worse, even after being misled about the amenities, they still charged us a $20 cancellation fee for something that was entirely their fault. This place is not worth the hassle. If you're looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay with honest communication and good service, look elsewhere. 👎
