October 12 · Shawnna MillsNot a bad place to liveStayed for a little over 1 yearI would totally do it over again if I needed to. There are some cons to my experience here but overall it was an exceptional experience. I was unsure about the whole "Trailer-Park" lifestyle at first but was pleasantly surprised by my experience with Southern Living. My life there helped me get to where I am today and I will always be grateful towards Jonathan, Anthony and the other Staff :)Pros:Excellent staff that make every effort to help when something wasn't right with the rental.Affordable and in an great areaDecent insulationQuiet neighborhoodFriendly NeighborsCons:My problems were not indicative to others within the park. I think I might have been the only one to have these issues:(Just stay away from #29 LoL)Upon signing the lease, I asked if I could mount TV's and Monitors on the wall. The landlord was initially against this but we came to an agreement with an increased rent amount. Increasing the rent by $50 a month, I would get the permission to mount TV's ect AND get a custom wooden staircase to replace the subpar one that was in use. The wooden staircase NEVER happened. However towards the end of my time there the landlord did reduce the rent by $25 but that was only for a few months. I did an entire year at an increased premium to get a staircase that was not delivered. Also big bug problem. The park has stray cats, the stray cats live under the trailers, where they cause infestations of FLEAS. This was ultimately the reason I had to leave, fleas were a reoccurring issue, BUT the landlord spent a lot of time and $$$ attempting to fix this issue but to no avail.Fixing the skirting around the bottom of the trailers to block access by the cats would help remedy this issue. I recommended this to the landlord but nothing was done with the skirting. BEWARE THE CATS
